It's sad to hear from Jones son n that he did and still does place blame on himself for anything that happened. He said I know with me not coming back is what sent him over the edge. That's so sad especially from a grown man. There was nothing that he did or didn't do to make his father snap at that point. It was inevitable it was going to happen and definitely nothing his son did or didn't do could change that. This man was sick crazy and a drug addict losing his mind..

Luke Wilson is Jim Jones' son? Who knew?

Sad thing is that that's all my beloved country is known for and remembered as #Jonestown . The devil in disguise smh..

I cannot believe how stupid, simple minded and naive people can be.Believe, follow, forget about just taking a nibble,or chewing it,these knuckles just swallow it whole.Bit of a joke really..

brainwashed by this awful man
Jones is such a coward, he didn't have the balls to drink the kool-aid but he forced the kids to do it..

behind the ear earmuffs

I remember when this happened and how horrific it was seeing the news reports and air photos of all the lined up dead where they died. It was on the news and special reports for weeks and months. Still to this day I am very shocked over the gullibility of these people that followed him. Were their lives that miserable they felt they needed to follow someone like this? To this day I find it surprising of all the TV preachers and all they ask for is money money money and stupid people actually follow and give to the crackpots..

we didnt commit suicide. We committed an act of revolutionary suicide protaste the condition of an inhuman world No it wasn't suicide you where doing dodgey things behind the scenes. Then you got caught and murdered them. and when it fell apart you tricked them into drinking poison. Then when people started seeing and figuring out about the poison and people refused you force them to drink it inject it etc. I dont call that suicide that is murder. If you think its suicide you are out your god damn mind this is outright murder..

I want to hate all of the parents who let their children die. But I can't, people in the 70s where searching for peace, while, there was AIDS, racism, political asassinations, among all other crap that went down in their time. Hopefully they are all at peace wherever they are. And those children... 9/11 was bad, Oklahoma bomb was bad, Waco was baaad. If I fill myself wich such hate, I might go crazy thinkig about all this. So I forgive them....

David koresh looks like Joseph seed from far cry 5 whom also was a cult leader

Killing your own kids that’s crazy

Jim Jones was a Communist, Marxist, and Socialist, and cult leader. A celebrated leftist, Jones met with the likes of Walter Mondale, Dianne Feinstein and Rosalynn Carter, and in 1976 he was honored at a San Francisco banquet, with then-Assemblyman Willie Brown who called Jones a combination of Martin King, Angela Davis, Albert Einstein and Chairman Mao.Jones, Angela Davis and Mao were all communist murderers, so perhaps that comparison is apt..

My sisters and I delivered the Boston Globe newspaper because it hit the headlines big time in 1978. I was 13 years old at the time. What i don't understand is why they don't tell you how former members who stayed back in the states were being tracked down and being killed even after the massacre. My sisters and i would read these things in the the newspapers..
