I met up with my friends on friday to catch up on things and go to the Christmas Market even though I was feeling poorly. Batikan was ill and I think I got it from him. I was coughing all the time and had a blocked nose. Going out on friday made it worse I think. I don't cough much anymore since I took some medicine but my nose is still blocked and I have a headache. I can't go to the doctors since it's Christmas and it's closed. But I think I will get better if I stay at home and keep myself warm.
My friends and I decided to meet up at 11am. One of my friends had to go to work at 2pm so we had to meet up early. Just as I was going to our meeting place my friend called me and told me that our other friend didn't pick up her calls. We knew that she still was sleeping so I went back, met up with my friend and we went to her house to wake her up. All of that took a lot of time so we all ended up being at our meeting place at 12pm.
We decided to eat something before going to the Christmas Market which was just nearby. We ate something at McDonald's and stayed there for about one hour to warm ourselves up since it was really cold outside.
After that we went to the Christmas Market which was full of people and it was very festive.
We took some photos there and bought some candies and then decided to go somewhere warm because we were really cold. We went to a coffee shop and one of our friends had to leave for work. I got a Cappuccino Panforte which was a regular cappuccino with gingerbread syrup which I love. It was really delicious.
After the coffee we went to the shopping district to look at the shops and maybe buy something. My friends got some stuff from H&M but I got nothing. I looked for birthday presents for my friend who was with me but I didn't get anything because I didn't want her to see it yet. Maybe I'll go again on tuesday to get her a present.
We looked around the shops for very long and it got dark already. They turned on the lights on the shopping district and it was really pretty.
It was already 5pm when I got home but it was a really nice day. I think the next time we'll meet up will be on the birthday of my friend which is on the 2nd of January. She is planning on celebrating it at her home. It will be the first time for me to go to her house since it's a bit far away and I never got the chance to go there.
