昨日、ある著名人の略歴を訳していたら、

という文章を見かけました。


後半が気になったので、「legendary proportion」　で検索すると
たくさんヒットした。

伝説の域に達した車泥棒って　（笑）　。。。。



proportion =　比率　と思っちゃうけど、
「If you refer to the proportions of something, you are referring to its size, usually when this is extremely large.」　（コウビルド英英辞典）らしいです。
