My name is Yumin, and I am a housewife living in Tokyo.
I have been a Disney fan since my childhood, so I constructed this blog, which is totally about Disney.
But before beginning showing my articles here, I would like to explain the purpose of this blog and my attitude in writing.
This blog was born under the purpose of taking communication with people with the common interest worldwide.
In Japan, we can enjoy so many movies, magazines and books about Disney, and we have Tokyo Disney Resort too.
Surely there are many Disney fans in Japan, but unfortunately, Japanese fans can hardly access to further information about Disney.
Let me take an example.
I am a big fan of Carl Barks and recently I began to read Floyd Godfredson too, but I have no friend I can talk to about their works.
The reason is that none of their works have been translated in Japanese so far.
In addition, it is difficult to procure English version of Disney comics in common bookstores here.
In Japan, if we are not REALLY intrigued in Disney comics, there is virtually no opportunity to get in touch with them directly, so it is very difficult to find other fans of brilliant authors of Disney comics even with the help of Internet.
I began this blog simply for myself, but if possible, I would like other people to visit here and post comments for communication with each other.
The other thing I would like you to note is that my attitude of writing is "learning and writing," as I am one of so many Japanese fans, who have fewer sources of information.
As I still have only little knowledge, I would like to learn through writing, and write through learning.
Therefore informative values of this blog may be very low for many non-Japanese Disney fans.
Of course I am welcome to people who are like living dictionaries of Disney, but I expect the main readers of this blog to be people who are familiar to the various works of Disney but without so much detailed knowledge about the backgrounds of them.
I wish myself and my readers can learn together about Disney through this blog.
In the end, I have to tell you that unfortunately I am not a native speaker of English.
I acquired all my English only through training in Japan.
There must be a lot of lexico-grammatical errors or mistakes, but I would like you to be tolerant to them.
(Correction is always welcome. I am a Disney fan and also an English learner.)
Please note that I can use only Japanese and English.
As I have a lot of works to do as other people do (mainly I've got to take care of my little son), the pace of updating may be very slow, but I will read and reply all the comments, even it may take some time.
