CU Buffs Basketball

How are you doing guys?

I got a cold last week and fever a little.

Hope you are in good health!

As you might know, most students love watching CU Buffaloes game including me.

There was a basketball game at Coors events center on Wed.



CU vs. Texas A&M

I was pretty good game.

CU led the game most of the time.

CU almost won. They led 3pts away at 4 sec left in the 2nd half.

Unfortunately, Texas succeeded 3pt shoot and they went overtime.

CU played good in overtime, but they lost the game. So close!

Everybody got excited during the game and had a good time.

Superbowl Sunday!

Hey everyone, how is it going?

As you might know, it was freezing last week!

It was even painful.

Yet, it warmed up a little over weekends. Thank god.

Did you have a good sunday today?

Yeah? Certainly, I did!

I went to a bar called Lazy Dog on Pearl St. with my friends.

We watched Superbowl game there and had some drinks and burgers.

I loved it!

I wish I had pictures of them, but not. Sorry about that…

Anyways, there are tons of good places to hang out with friends in Boulder.

Coffee shops, bars, clubs, and C4C which is a place you should go!

I will show you what it is soon.

Take it easy guys.

My First Blog

Hi, how is it going?

My name is Yukihiro Uchida.

I am an international student from Japan at CUBoulder.

It is a great opportunity to share my experiences here with you.

Let me introduce myself a little bit.

I came here United States in 2006.

I went to International English Center (IEC) at CU to study English for about a year.

After I got enough TOEFL score fortunately, I moved to Denver and went to Front Range Community College.

My major was business there. Since I lived in Denver, I had to commute one hour way everyday. It was tough.

I studied about a year and a half at Front Range. With my earned credits, I transferred to CUBoulder. It was the end of 2008.

Because I need some money for tuition, I went back to Japan and worked there for about a year.

And here it came!

I have flown back here last August and become a CU student!

It has been fantastic so far. I can try whatever I want to.

Hopefully I could give you some tips about life in Boulder through my blogs.
