Q1 What is the difference between 「why
don’t you」and「let’s」.
「why don’t you」 と 「let’s」 の違いはな
に？
Jon: “Why don’t you” is like “you should”.
「why don’t you」は｢you should｣って感じ
Let’s is let us do something together.
「let’s」は「let us」の略だから「Let’s」は 一緒に何かしよう
ってようだ。

Jon: ok, if you are in a large group, and everyone is talking
except for one person, if you wanted that person to join,
you could say "why don't you talk?"
おｋ。友達たちと話しいて、一人だけ話してない人がいる時、
その人もみんなと話すようにするために「why don’t you talk?」
って言える

Jon: Let’s talk is like hey let’s talk.
「let’s talk」は「hey, let’s talk」って感じ

Jon: If you want to do something with person or people, you can use 「let’s」. For example, when you want to get food, you can say ｢let’s get something to eat｣ or another example is you can say「let’s go to the store」.
誰かと何かを一緒にやりたいなら、「let’s」を使ってもいい。
たとえば、「何か食べましょう」ってのは英語で｢let’s get
something to eat｣だよ。あと、「店に行こう」っては
「let’s go to the store」です。
結論 why don't you は"なぜ～しないか"とい
う誰かに対しての参加を促す勧誘、let's
はただの誘いを表す!!
