Last Tuesday,
I used this picture book
to introduce the concept of money
to my 6-year-old tutee.
He had a great time role-playing Max
and shopping with the "bunny money"
while I read the story to him.
How to make bunny money:
Photocopy the bunny money on the endpapers.
Cut them out and glue the fronts to the backs.

Please note that you will need 10 one-dollar bills,
a five-dollar bill, and a quarter
to go shopping with Max and Ruby.
