こんばんは! My name is Audrey, and I'm a freshman in college. I live in America, but I've been a close student of Japanese culture and language for about 5-6 years now. A friend in a vaporwave server I'm really active in shared that he had joined a Japanese blogging site, so I was immediately intrigued and wanted to see what it was all about. The second the website had loaded, I got a really good gut feeling that I would be spending a lot of my time documenting my life here! It's only my first day, so I have a lot to explore, but it's probably a good idea to introduce myself and set a standard for where I'm currently in life.
I just turned 19 as of 28 December, which was half weird and half really exciting! I have two cats: Mozart (a very spunky flame-point Siamese) and Chloe (a Maine Coon mix who we honestly thought was a girl until we took him to the vet a year later (◑́_◑᷅)) and I love them both to death. I'm majoring in chemistry/chemical engineering and I'm working towards my PhD in fusion engineering; I want to work for the ITER project in England or Japan SO BAD!!! But in my free time, I love playing video games (mostly Nintendo nowadays), browsing Twitter, practising karate, and hopefully updating this blog!
My uncle BJ, who I consider my idol, told me recently that I should find and share a passion, and he really inspired me. Finding this website is a sign that I'm on my way to living a happy, fulfilled life!
