松本市内、前回は波多（波田村）の波多山城登りましたが、その麓に存在する若澤寺に立ち寄りました。実はこの波多城は何度も何度も登ってきていますが、麓の寺には立ち寄ったことがありませんでした。若澤寺と書いて、NYATAKUJI というふうに発音します。
I climbed Hatayama Castle last time in Hata village in Matsumoto. At the foot of the old ruins, you can find the old ruins again called Nyatakuji temple. I climbed this Hatayama castle many times but i had never visited this temple.
この寺は実は神社でもあり、寺でもあり、と不思議な場所なんです。信濃日光と呼ばれていたらしく、江戸時代（廃仏毀釈前まで）には県外からも多くの参拝客がいたのだそう。そういう事実を想像しただけで、なんかワクワクしてしまいました。というか昔から人々が来ていたと想像するだけで、感動してしまうんです。今も昔も、人の心というのはそんなに大きく変わっていないのではないか、と僕は思います。
I was attracted this place so misteriously. It is thought to be a shrine also to be a temple. It is called Nikko of Nagano Shinsyu(This means Nagano pref.) Until the era of Meiji (the Haibutu kishaku) there were so many people who came from other prefectures. I was so attracted to know to imagine how people came and worshipped at this sacred place.

ここから登って少しすると、段々畑の田畑のような場所があります。
Here the singboard tells the story of this temple and
the structure of monastery.
印象的なのは、地蔵が二体いらっしゃって首がはねられております。
廃仏毀釈の後だと思われます。これほど、硬い石をはねるためには相当な
根気が必要です。地蔵の形が非常に珍しいなと感じました。

絵を頼りに、どこに伽藍が存在したのか、想像するだけでも胸が躍りました。
ただ、伽藍は時代を経て、縮小されてきた？様子なので、本当はどうだったのでしょうか。
