冒頭の"cold water is a'calling"ですが、a'には特別な意味はないと思いますが、ちゃんと意味があるんですかね？ よく分かりません。
翻訳には特別なコメントはありませんが、このJulie Fowlisさんの歌い方がスコティッシュ訛りなのかなと思いながら聴いてました。
特に"about"の発音がイギリスっぽいな思いました。人や階級にもよると思いますが、"about"をアボゥトと発音するんです。
たぶんロンドンの下町言葉(?)ではmuchなどの"u"の音もawfulの"aw"のようになります。I love you so muchがアイ・ロブユー・ソゥ・モッチのようになります。イギリスの訛りに詳しい方、教えてください。
