My mom was from Ise-City, Mie-pref(三重県伊勢市). In the 80s, she often took my younger brother and me to her hometown during long vacations. Its scenery was similar to this trail. Fewer buildings, more nature things. Ouch, fxk, a bee stung me

[Inogashira Park Dismemberment Incident]
Lots of mysteries. Yet, quite limited evidence. The statute of limitations expired on April 23rd, 2009, at 0am. Now, this incident transformed into one of the creepiest stories in Japan's history.

[Inogashira Park Dismemberment Incident]
Some witnesses said they saw a young man who looked similar to the victim. He was beaten by two men near the victim's house. Also, two men with trash bags were discerned in the park on the dawn of the 23rd.

[Inokashira Park Dismemberment Incident]

[Inogashira Park Dismemberment Incident]
Each piece was cut by a buzz saw and integrated into 20cm(7.9in) to fit into the park's trash box(12in x 12in x 8in). Blood was completely drained. So, some researchers advocate the existence of multiple suspects.

[Miyuki Kaaisou]
The recent speculation: the letters were actually written by "Tomida no Mataware" who might be working with yakuza people. She wanted to express her apology to the Kamomae family, yet didn't want herself in crisis. So she "nuanced" words.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
Later, eyewitnesses of Yuki reported that they saw her in Yokkaichi's Tomida Station just before her disappearance, and some saw a yakuza-looking guy talking to Yuki. Mysteries continue to accumulate.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
Mystery #4: the jargon "Asayan(アサやん)" might be the anagram of "Yaasan(ヤーさん)"=a slangy way to refer to Yakuza. So, Yakuza people might be related to this case.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
Mystery #3: why were all three formats randomly employed in these letters? The sender obviously intended the writing to be impossible to decipher. There were speculations that the elder person composed since lots of nuanced words existed.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-------
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
Mystery #2: "Dattan Kaikyo(韃靼海峡)," now called "Mamiya Kaikyo(間宮海峡)=Strait of Tartary," was referred to in the second letter. Some surmised Yuki was kidnapped and sent to North Korea or Russia.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
--------
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
Mystery #1: why did the sender write "Kaaisou(カアイソウ)" instead of "Kawaisou(かわいそう)=pity" in Katakana format? Why their names were mistyped as "Miyuki" and "Hideyuki"? Yet, why did those typos seem "adjacent"?
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
So, still, those people who stepped into this mysterious disappearance of an elementary girl in Mie-Pref, including me, believe this case was an abduction, and those grudges related to ancestors might be a trigger.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
The challengers were particularly appalled by these two phrases: "Miyuki Kaaisou(ミユキカアイソウ)" and "Tomida no Mataware(富田の股割れ)." Lots of them linked Yuki and Miyuki, then interpreted the word "Mataware" as "a whore."
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
Even though the letters were nearly impossible to comprehend, once these were fully leaked, lots of people tried to unlock uncanny words dispersed in the letters. And, most "challengers" shuddered.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
We say these creepy letters "Kaibunsho(怪文書)." "Kai(怪)=inexplicable, eerie, creepy" and "Bunsho(文書)=letter." Yet, since Yuki was completely disappeared, this Kaibunsho turned national attention once the media outlet reported it.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
The three letters were written vertically and randomly displayed Kanji, Katakana, and Hiragana. It was so hard to read that even experts couldn't decipher the exact meaning.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
Three years later. An anonymous envelope reached the Kamomae family with the typo of her father's name "Hideyuki(秀行)" as the recipient (his name was Yoshiyuki[芳行]). It included three handwritten letters.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
According to the record, Yuki's favorite hot cocoa was left unfinished, and the pink jacket she always wears when going outside was also present. Later, some anonymous and silent phone calls reached the Kamomae family.
#unsolvedmysterytuesday
-----
[Miyuki Kaaisou]
This was an unsolved case that happened in Yokkaichi, Tomida, Mie-pref, on March 15th, 1991. The second grader girl "Yuki Kamomae(加茂前ゆき)" mysteriously disappeared. When family members came home around 3pm, there was no trace of Yuki.

In the 90s and 2000s, "-tan(たん)" turned popular among Japanese online addicts, particularly among anime fans, as an alternative for "-chan." I don't perceive this much often compared to a decade ago. Still, sounds playful and kawaii, huh?
#jpn101 #jpn104

[-chan(ちゃん)]
Very common but maybe unfamiliar for non-Japanese people: young people quite often call their parents "Touchan(父ちゃん)=dad" and "Kaachan(母ちゃん)=mom" since "Tousan(父さん)=father" and "Kaasan(母さん)=mother" sound too formal.
#jpn101 #jpn104

Let's say, if I have a friend named "Junji" who's of close age and often hangs around, I call him "Jun-chan." If I work with a staff member "Rina," younger than me and less skilled, I call her "Rina-chan."
#jpn101 #jpn104

Let's turn lighter. Near my city, there is a road called "Palm Drive." As the name suggests, I feel so, oh I'm in California. We say, "Gorippa(ご立派)=stand almighty, perfect shape". Owwww, I'm sowing "Fukusen(伏線)=foreshadowing" for tomorrow

For those folks who missed the real-time ride, follow "#japanjan" and click the "Latest" tab. I often research Japanese cultures or unknown mysteries that I didn't know. I tend to retrieve the info from multiple and credible websites written in a proper format.
#japanjan
------
Well, the scary part: the prime suspect "Tamotsu Kohara(小原保)"'s intention was just to earn 500K Yen(=$5,000 in the 60s=$20K for 2022) to erase his slate. Yet, he turned evil while facing a crying kid. Now, you get the idea.
#japanjan
---------
I never know "Yoshinobu-chan Yuukai Satsujin Jiken(吉展ちゃん誘拐殺人事件)=Yoshinobu-chan Kidnapping and Murdering" until today. Such a tragedy, yet unfortunately, quite intriguing since it was non-fiction. Real tragic stories are often goddamn enticing.
#japanjan
---------
Why did this incident turn this complicated? (1) the police never knew the victim was murdered (2) the incident didn't immediately go to public (3) the money-involved ransom of minors was rare at that time (4) no phone trace (5) the police misjudged "40 to 55yrs old."
#japanjan
------
The incident drew strong concern from the Japanese public and turned into a social trend for years. The suspect was finally death-sentenced on December 23rd, 1971. Its sensationalism generated lots of novels, films, documentaries, and so on.
#japanjan
------
On July 4th, 1965, the police finally identified "Tamotsu Kohara(小原保, 32)" as the prime suspect. Once arrested, Kohara confessed he killed and buried Yoshinobu in Entsuuji(円通寺)in Arakawa-ku(荒川区). Kohara committed some misdemeanors before the arrest.
#japanjan
------
April 25th, Shitaya(下谷) Police Station in Tokyo ran the recorded voice of the suspect in public. By the end of the day, 10,000 reports from the civilians were submitted. Yet, no info could locate the solid evidence of the suspect.
#japanjan
-------
The communication between the suspect and the Murakoshi family halted. The police incorporated with mass media and begged to submit any info regarding this case toward Japanese citizens nationwide.
#japanjan
------
The suspect failed to retrieve a 500K Yen envelope in his first attempt. Yet, on April 7th, the officers failed to interwork and couldn't arrest the suspect. He swiftly retrieved the ransom Yoshinobu's mother placed on the assigned motor tricycle and easily got away.
#japanjan
-----
Yoshinobu Murakoshi(村越吉展), 4 at that time, went missing on March 31st, 1963. 3 days later, the Murakoshi family received a phone call demanding a 500K Yen(= $5,000 in the 60s = $20K for 2022) ransom.

While I was searching for Yokai info, I encountered "Yoshinobu-chan Yuukai Satsujin Jiken(吉展ちゃん誘拐殺人事件)=Yoshinobu-chan Kidnapping and Murdering," happened in 1963. The tragedy took 2 years and 3 months to find the prime suspect and became a social sensation.

When we make "Okonomiyaki(お好み焼き)=JPN style pizza," we dress it up with Tonkatsu sauce, ketchup, and mayo. Apply the same to an omelet. I tried to write "moe(萌え)" with ketchup like Akihabara's "maid cafe" employees. Failed. Really difficult to write it

Kreator guys are already in their 50s, but they still retain authentic heavy metal attire. Now this time, filled with catchiness and instant hooks. I believe they are aging in convincing ways. Not brutal, but still energetic throughout.

Oh, I usually don't follow this "Character Glid" since I can't make each character into this detail. I focus on "gender, age, quirky traits, strengths, weaknesses, weaknesses, minuses, faults, who-the-fxk-are-you, and unlikeable"

And, "Spacings before the slugline(master scene heading)." The first read, I had no idea. Yet, now, I stick to "bold slugline with two spaces on its head." Yet, since I'm not stepped into an actual career, I avoid "numbering scenes"

When I first completed reading this back in the fall/winter of 2020, I couldn't recognize what he was explaining here. Now, "See is the key word" heavily struck me. I was trapped in this "novelistic writing" for a long. I learned those murder holes

So, tonight. Let's take a look at "The Screenwriter's Bible 7th Ed" by David Trottier(@drtrottier). I return to this book once I finish completing one story. Nearly 500p thick book that can kill a person or two by hitting with its left-bottom corner.

To me, ginger best matches with pork meat. We say, "Shouga Yaki(生姜焼き)." "Shouga(生姜)=ginger" and "Yaki(焼き)=stir-fry." Shougayaki is Japan's "Kokuminteki(国民的)=nationally recognized" entree and those small restaurants' "never misfires" dish

So, my folks. When "possessing katana/guns without a license" turned illegal in Japan? After WWII, under GHQ's stringent "no weapon" order. We now say, "Juutouhou Ihan(銃刀法違反)=Violation of the Firearm and Sword Law."
#studyjapanthursday

Study Japan Thursday
In the initial stage, not all katanas were confiscated from everyone since Edo Bakufu(江戸幕府=Tokugawa Shogunate) aimed to sanctify Bushi(武士=warrior) class. In Meiji(明治, 1868-1912), katanas were limited to soldiers/police.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi(豊臣秀吉)'s major purpose here was "Hei Nou Bunri(兵農分離)." "Hei(兵)=soldiers." "Nou(農)=Noumin(農民)=farmers." "Bunri(分離)=separate." Now, you get the idea. Hideyoshi turned Katanagari in a "Law and Order" manner.

As Toyotomi Hideyoshi(豊臣秀吉) nearly stabilized Japan nationwide, he decided to take away firearms from non-Bushi(武士=warrior) people like peasants. So, on August 29, 1588, he officially announced "Katanagari Rei(刀狩令)"

I believe many of my folks love "Sengoku Jidai(戦国時代)." It's widely recognized from 1467 to 1615 when Tokugawa Ieyasu(徳川家康) finally perished Toyotomi Family(豊臣家) in "Osaka Natsu no Jin(大坂夏の陣)=The Seige of Osaka Castle."

The word "Kari/Gari(狩り)" connotes multiple meanings. The major one would be "hunt." Yet, when discussing "Katanagari(刀狩り)," it implies "hunt and deprive" since every single samurai sword was widely confiscated from 1588.
