Got free tickets to baseball match of Giants vs. Buffaloes from my school yesterday .

Lucky me!

It's my first baseball game ever!

Always wanted to see it for real.

Went there all alone and met my classmate who also got a ticket.

But along the way the whole time I was alone. I felt really independent haha

So I went around actually seaeching for affrdable snacks and all are freaking pricey.

It took like half an hour to an hour for the real match to start. I was molding on my seat.

And Giants team took their sweet time pitching the ball every single match oh myyyy.

But Murata's hit for worth everything! He was incredible! And I wanna mention that I'm neither on any team. I am merely a spectator, and a rookie.

The game lasted till 5.30PM! And I had to rush to Ueno to buy my groceries.

Thanks to my friend, Jackie, who guided me to Metro Subway through his secret shortcut he and his girlfriend discovered! Imagine walking slowly with the crowd, it'll take ages!

Thanks for the day, good play.
I've decided to continue writing my blog and no more slacking off.

And why is because being a genius, I deleted my entore phoyos album on my phone.

But I got over it after two hours of self review.

Pretty quick huh.

It's just the past and well, what's important to me, it would be in my memories. And the crappy ones will be forgotten.

Great day to tidy my memory too haha

If i would actually be as cheerful as I sound.

So on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I decided to go for a 東京散歩

Time for some alone time.

Heavily bloomed plum blossoms in winter.

It's pretty but I do hope for warmth to come.

I went to Ueno, Ameyoko.

Haven't been there before... But, I came to love this place a whole lot!

I personally love Ueno, now I love it even more.

By the way, the reason for me loving a place is firstly: the food and then the atmosphere.

Oh baybehhh! Nuts and dried fruits!

Forgot to mention, I went all the way to Ueno for the nearest Daiso from my place.

Since Daiso is situated around Ameyoko, so yeah..

I was starving so I got myself churros. Strawberry flavor, interesting.

And another churros looking doughnut labelled as doughnut, I have no idea. But it tastes good.

I thought this might help my understanding towards Japanese.

And my main purpose of today, CHECKED!

Making birthday card for dad. So I needed to get all the props.

On my way back, i wet for grocery shopping and.... Got my first prawn after half a year, at least. I dare not consume prawn since I got my allergies on quite a lot of foods in last year's March.

So tempura, it's a test to see if i have any allergic reactions. Haha

Not even last month do I have the courage to buy it.

Art after dinner, till late night.

Should've practiced this a lot earlier, unfortunately I got the pastel only few days ago.

Well, hope dad loves it.

Love & Light.
Well, first time of my life celebrating(not celebrating really... Just living it on) Chinese New Year without my family.

Feels empty.

Wanted to write this yesterday when it's the first day, but I had part time job till 11pm and came back by 12am something..

Obviously, Japan's not a country celebrate Chinese New Year.

It's totally fine. But knowing that today's a big day when it used to be, but the ones you love are on the other side of the island.

Well. At least I kinda enjoyed myself today.

First, I woke up at 10.30am. Damn I was tired as I slept at 3am last midnight. Kept on checking on my friends' post on the festive season.

They posted tasty looking home cooked and dined out foods. And a mandatory outfit of the day during these two very special days.

So I made mine out of it today while i had free time.

I started with breakfast, started to finish my homework.

And went out to Sugamo by 15.30pm.

I jumped into the bandwagon and took a photo of my outfit too. Haha

Well, I would've done the same if I were in my home country.

So there I was at Sugamo, trying out all the snacks I wanted to try since the first day.

Oh, and I forgot the name of this. But it's good. I chose cheese and custard but cheese tasted weird so I'll probably go for custard cream and red bean next time.

And Shio daifuku...... Honestly, it killed my appetite. Not my preferred kind of flavour. Sweet ones are much better. So no go for second time.

And to get back my sense of taste, I had warm manjuu, with sweet red bean paste in it. Much better.

Got good deal on these sanma fillets. Look at their sizes. I'm delighted.

It's my favorite kind of fish, and aji too. And had one of them for dinner.

Even I'm far from home and the joy I remember, I kept on reminding myself that I'm lucky enough to have all these good stuffs.

A year ago I knew I'd reach my dreams to come to Japan.

But as I said earlier, while the days got near to arriving in Japan, I lost my interest or i just got lost in direction.

Now, I look back at last year on how much I wanted to come here. Or two, three, four or perhaps ten years back, I would die to come here.

Such a cliché life is. How we change with time.

I thought a lot of things while I'm here too.

But at the same time, trying to live the best out of it.

I'll take my chances.

To everyone I love, have a prosperous year, full of joy, love and blessings.

Love & Light.
Went to an interview for event related job this morning.

Had to take out all my piercings just for this.

Ears feeling naked for real. It's been a long time.

It took me only a minute (no joke) for the person in charge to ask me questions, very simple questions, knowing that I'm a foreigner who speaks crappy Japanese haha

I could guess the results. I knew it even before the interview.

It's still a good experience for me.

And I got myself a sweet treat right after that.

It was tiring you know, running from Shinjuku station to Nishi Shinjuku. Damn Marunouchi subway made me disembarked at Shinjuku station, it could've took me only 4minutes to the venue.

Anyway, moving on.

I went to Ikebukuro to meet up with my classmates whom I often hang out with.

Yup, karaoke time. I finally found people who sings Japanese song!

Well I'm in Japan so it's normal. But yeah! I've been hoping someone to sing along with me rather than solo after almost 10 years!

This was the best: Digimon opening theme song. Brings back childhood memories!

We sand from noon to 6pm. My friends went for nabe after that as I decided to have dinner at dorm since my budget's really tight these months.

I have more important things for next big month.

I'm going for an upgrade and I'm gonna sit for Toeic test in March.

Can't wait (but I'll wait) for spring to come. Damn winter's too cold for me as a summer lover.

But I think I'd love spring instead... Especially after imagining the creepy crawlies coming back to life in summer. Oh my god.

Love & light.
