What's happening, Bruno Mars?

He's popping.  Like really he's popping in his latest music video.

That's what I like

This song is so the early 90's.  He does it so well with old school vibe.  I can see that he's intentionally aiming at doing the 90's in this album.  Before this was Funk, Doowop, Sting kind of Rock, Island kinda sound and now the early 90's R&B.  Brilliant!  I love that. I'm so into this song that I have that on repeat over and over again.

I love his musical senses.  Without a doubt he is a multitalented artist.  He does everything.  He writes, composes, produces, plays instruments, sings and dances.  Give it up to this young talent!  And even his dancing!  Have you seen him nowadays?  I don't know if it's because he's hanging out with Phil from Jabbawockeez a lot, but he's popping goooood!  He's adding more styles than ever.  He's been a good dancer I know, but you can see he's working on it every time he performs because it shows. And this latest music video is kinda cool.  It's partly animated, every time he pops, it pops and is awesome.

Okay, going back to his music sounding so the early 90's.  It reminds me of my days when I used to listen to the real woozing 90's R&B.  Those baby making songs lol.  H-Town, Subway, R Kelly, Keith Sweat, gosh I can't think of any other names anymore, its been awhile but I really enjoyed back then with the real soulful love making R&B music. So I appreciate his effort and musicality and amazing talent.  And for going kinda old school with His vibe and the latest sounds.  Again, you can feel his love and knowledge of music.  So brilliant to manage to manipulate(?) the marketing side of music industry, too.  He seems to be knowing (I'm assuming) that that's the familiar sounds to the 90's music lovers who are now entering their midlife crisis phase.  Bringing back the sound helps them go back in the days and feel younger again.  It's almost like a pep talk through his music.  Music heals your mind.  Whether it's his intention or not, it seems to be working this time by involving the younger generations.  Really, Music heals your mind!

By the way, this reminds me of Beyoncé's song from a few years back.  I think it's called Party.  I like the sounds from the early 90's kind of instruments they use in that song.  And it's Queen Bey.  She nailed it.

Okay, let's link them here.
Enjoy.  Reminisce.  Flashback to the days if you are my generation or a little older lol. And feel the good vibe ルンルン音符ウインク
