The logo for the new xfy technology released last year by justsystem comprises the letters "x","f",and "y" lying on their side.The designation xfy has been coined by linking "x" as in "unknown" with the suffix "-fy" as in "amplify" or "modify". The creator of this name and logo design - which designates a technology that facilitates the creation and editing of documents in XML - was the branding and design company Enterprise IG Japan. Creative Director Hidetaka Matsunaga says that "the company utilized the image of a tattoo to foster the solid perception in people's minds of xfy as a single unit."
XML, which stands for Extnesible Markup Language, is the markup language predicted to proliferate on the next-generation Web and in next-generation office software. The major feature of XML, its bracket tag "<>", has been incorporated into the logo design. It's a performance that appeals to programmers and that professionals find enviable.

ナショナリズム
