Myspaceで火がつきあっという間にメジャーデビューしたOwl city。
Owlはフクロウとか夜更かしとか、静寂な　の意味に当たるので
OwlCity（静寂な街）ってところでしょうか＞＜

草食男子系シンガーと呼ばれるテクノポップミュージシャンです。
彼の歌はどの曲も　とても透明感があって

初めて彼の存在を知ったとき、
彼が思い描いている世界と
私の中で疑問に感じてたり、イメージしている出来事が
すごくマッチしている感覚に陥りました。

この「Fireflies」は不眠症だった頃の彼が
もくもくと地下室で書いた歌詞。


私たちが見ている世界は全てなんかじゃない。
眠る暇さえも惜しんで、
静かにずっと見つめていたい。

たぶんだけどそう言いたいんじゃないかな。

なんか、すっごくマッチしてます。
なんだろこの不思議な感覚。
