The team is also focusing on its running game, in the backfield and the offensive line. What was the reaction from experts and fans regarding the draft? The first-round pick of Jackson was seen as unsettling, especially since the team already had two suitable defensive ends. The selection of Bryant was met with better reception, as was Carlson, who is a proven pass-catcher. Schmitt will be effective in taking over Mack Strong's spot, while long-snapper Tyler Schmitt met more disdain, considering that most long snappers are signed as free agents, not crucial draft choices.
