so last night I went out with my friends to have a drink and then we were gonna go see the big Christmas tree >.<

well, we did go to the bar and had some drinks...

well, after a while, it started to rain...




so we decided to wait a bit so maybe the rain would stop...

but...




it turned out to be a rainstorm and the streets got flooded




so we actually never got to see the xmas tree >.<




instead, we were stuck in the bar for over 5 hours and we had to sit on the tables not to get wet T_T

this picture was taken when the water level was still very low... later, the water actually covered even the chairs in the bar, half the cars on the street and not even buses could pass >.<




this is me sitting on a table, with my legs on a chair (before the water covered the chairs) and that is the dirty water that came from outside >.<

this was the last picture I took before I put my phone in my purse so it wouldn't get wet >.<

we were finally able to leave the bar at 2 am and even then I had a bit of trouble to get home, since the streets still looked like rivers >.<

so I had to actually bathe my legs in alcohol to get rid of all the dirty water I had to step on T_T

so a little message to Rio's mayor, Mr. Eduardo Paes...
