For a long time, I did not post in this blog because I specifically wanted the call guide to be used as much as possible. It might look a little bit outdated as calls get refined, some might be changed or some just don't do it out of habit. I have been an idol fan for a long time so graduations happen and groups disbanding. I have seen a lot of groups have their last live before their very eyes. Sakidori Hasshinkyoku. Beboga, Babyraids Japan and many more who I haven't caught up to over the years.
It's easy to be blindsided by a member who just announces graduation out of nowhere but when everything seems fine, they announce it. prior to the Hokkaido performance of the group. Hoshi Yurika and Shiraishi Mayumi announced their graduation from the group. A few days later, Niina announced her graduation as well. Normally if something of that magnitude happens, it's more of an internal problem than an external problem. I have been a fan of Mayumi since 2016 when there were then members Mashiro Shiori (VAZ) and Watanabe Eri were still in the group. Moving forward it seemed fine as the group released it's first single under Tokuma Japan.
I need closure
As for graduation, I wanted a final live but what happened was Hoshi Yurika and Hoshino Yui had a performance in Tokyo while Shiraishi Mayumi, Niina and Suzuki Minayo performed in Hokkaido. It was sudden because the final lives seemed to happen 3 days after the announcement of the graduation. Future lives were then cancelled and the proposed One Man Live in May was cancelled too. It is the members' decision to hold a final live in Tokyo as them being Tokyo Flavor came to an abrupt end. I wanted closure because I wanted to see them more. Also the group wasn't that old in terms of average age so moving forward, I thought I could see them.
Sweet Story MV was released with the 5 members as a tribute and the lives last year that were not released previously by Geiken Flavor channel.
Final lives of Hoshi Yurika here below.
Tokyo Flavor Senbatsu
Management wanted to reform the group as the core members of the group are gone. Normally, a collaboration of Flavor members across the country would be called Super Flavor but it seems that management want to call it senbatsu. Not everyone is too happy with it. I have my own reasons for it.
Give me time. I can't process it right now. A clear mind would make sense here.
