I LOVE THE JOB

I am always so crazy about my work, because I love my job too much.

I like all work and roles.　I have no job to hate.

However, there are lots of things I like and things I want to do.

There are also many things I want.

So from now on, I will live thinking about all the balance.

It will be wonderful if I keep a balanced lifestyle, learning the languages, doing good work, and having some fun.

【今日の勉強メモ】

私は仕事が好きで好きでたまらない。　一日中どころか一年中、仕事でも良いくらい仕事が好き。

でもやっぱり全てのバランスが大切ですよね。　この２～３年でちょっと考えが変わりました。

A fantastic and beautiful Art

I love fantastic and beautiful photos and paintings.

Colorful flowers, trees and majestic views touch my heart.

I feel happiness when I see beautiful and fantastic things.

When I looking at the photos of the magnificent nature, it makes me feel like I'm in there.

And the paintings with fantastic and　beautiful colors steals my heart.

I also paint paintings myself.　I paint a nail art with acrylic paint, but when I drawing on canvas use pastel.

I especially like to paint the painting with the art materials of the powder called Pastel.

When I spread the color with pastels, it becomes a painting of a fluffy atmosphere, and I like that soft impression.

I have not painted a picture recently, but when I look at the beautiful photos and paintings of everyone, I wanted to paint a paintings again.

【今日の勉強メモ】

絵を描く、という表現も色々ありますね。　パステルアートの場合は

パステルという粉を塗り広げる感じで描いていくので、「spread」を使いました。

でも、どうなんだろう？　ネイティブの方が聞いたら「ん？」という感じになるかしら・・・。

I used to do kendo.　Kendo has a personal warfare and a group warfare.

Kendo is the traditional Japanese martial art.

It is a swordsmanship using a bamboo sword.

Bamboo sword is a sword made with bamboo.

Bamboo sword is called "Shinai" in Japanese.

Striking each other's head, wrist, torso with that sword.

In some cases, I will thrusting the opponent's neck with that sword.

Of course, we wear the protective armour.

For kendo, it is important to respect courtesy towards opponents.

Spirit (Heart), Technique(art), Body (Strong), Kendo is the competition to nurture these three.

Even if you score points, you should never be thrilled and frolicked

with joy.

When you score points, you should show respect to your opponent.

And when the game is over, we bow to each other with gratitude.

【今日の勉強メモ】

海外の方とお話するとき、まずは自己紹介や仕事、趣味、好きな映画やスポーツの

話になる事が多いかなと思って、やっていた剣道について説明する練習をしました。

叩くより打つ、突く、かな・・・当てる、かなと色々と考えました。

いずれにしても、これまた色んな単語が当てはまるので悩みました(笑)！

Lettuce Dishes

I love vegetables, especially lettuce.

Everyone often eats lettuce raw as it is, but I often heat to

cook and eat it.

For example lettuce and beaten egg soup, stir-fried combine

lettuce and seafood etc.

The simmered lettuce stuffed with meat is also delicious.

The raw lettuce and the stir-fried lettuce are different the texture.

When you add heat to the lettuce, the taste of lettuce itself changes.

Lettuce is delicious with any flavouring.

It is delicious even in Japanese style, western style or Chinese style.

I cooked stir-fried dishes of Japanese style with squid and lettuce today.

【今日の勉強メモ】

英語で料理の説明をするのって、けっこう難しいです。

「こんがり焼く」が「brown until golden」だったり。

「炒める」は「pan-fry」と「stir-fry」どっちが良いかなと思いましたが、

なんとなく「stir-fry」にしました(笑)！

食感は「texture」とか「a sense of food」で良いんですね。

でもお豆腐なんかは「口あたり」という意味の「mouthfeel」が良さそうです。

Play in English

Do you know the story of "Ikkyu-san"？

When I was a junior high school student, I played the stage of

"Ikkyu-san Story" in English.

Because we were studying the story of "Ikkyu-san" in our English class.

I played "Ikkyu-san" of the main character of the story.

I worked hard to practice English, because there were many lines of the main character "Ikkyu-san".

We had a special lesson to perform each cast in English.

We all worked hard to practice speaking English speech to each.

We enjoyed the plays made in English！　The theater play by our English was succeeded.

I liked English at that time, so I was delighted to be able to perform the stage in English.　It was so much fun and it is my precious memories.

【今日の勉強メモ】

今日は舞台の想い出の日記なんですが、「せりふ」という単語が分からなくて悩みました。

「quote」か「line」 なんですが、「line」のほうが一般的みたいですね。 lines of ～とか。

あと、演劇、舞台、演じる、などの単語がいくつかあって、これも本格的な舞台（演劇）か、

学校などで生徒たちが演じる発表会かで少し表現が変わるみたいですね。

theater、stage、play、perform、などなど。　playが一般的で使いやすかったです。

About English pronunciation

I had misunderstood how to pronounce "ɑ and ʌ" until now.
Then I was also wrong about how to pronounce R and L.

When I saw this video, I learned that it was different from the way

people taught me.

These two videos are very easy to understand about how to pronounce.

I could understand deeply about the pronunciation of "ɑ and ʌ".

For Japanese people, "R" is hard to hear.

And furthermore I was surprised！

"L" is more difficult to pronounce than "R".

For Japanese people, "L" is easy to hear, but hard to say.

Many Japanese are poor at the pronunciation of "L".

For native speakers, the pronunciation of "L" by Japanese people seems to be harder to understand than the pronunciation of "R".

The instructor in this video has published many other videos as well.

All the videos she published are very easy to understand about English and pronunciation.

I especially like the explanation about vocalization.

独学で英語の勉強をしていると、初めて知ることが多いです。　この年で

発音練習とか、英語で言いたいことを話す練習は楽しいけど、文法の勉強は

終わるとグッタリします(笑)！

この日記も正しい文法で英作文できているのか、謎のまま書いています・・・。

自分が伝えたいニュアンスを出せなくて、何回も書き直してる日もあります。

あっ、正しい文章と言えば「And」や「But」は文頭にもってきてはダメ、と聞きましたが

海外の記事を読んでいると、どちらも普通に文頭で使われています。

ただ、あまり文頭で多用すると、幼稚な感じがするのでしょうね。

Coming of Winter（ Rummy by Lotte）

I feel that winter has come, when I see this chocolate.

I usually seldom eat chocolate, but I always eat this one at the

beginning of winter.

This is the every year customary event of me.(笑)！

昨日ラミーの日記を書いてるとき、急にPC画面が上↑みたいな状態になって

途中で断念しました。　最近よく、こうなるんですよねぇ・・・。

スマホもおかしいので、どっちもアカンやぁ～んな状態です。

お友達の最新記事が表示されなかったり、読めなかったり。

いいねしてもらっても、お礼いいねが出来なくて、ほんと困ります・・・。

でも今までに、このパソコンのお陰だわという事がたくさんあったので

あまり文句を言えない自分がいます（笑）！

さんざん、コノヤローとか言ったあとに、責めてごめんねとか言ってしまう・・・。

えっ？！　気持ち悪いですか（笑）？！

However, I knew this song for the first time in January of this year.

What this song conveys is very wonderful.

I am touched by this lyrics and melody.

I can understand why this song is loved all over the world.

Why did I suddenly talk about this song.？！

Because, I was glad that I could understand the meaning by listening to English only without looking at Japanese lyrics.

What kind of English words are used？　I understood that.

I understood only by listening to the English word that he spoke.

very beneficial to me.

I was pleased to find this.

Moreover, it is a small company that manufactures such a wonderful product.

This company uses their local fruits and vegetables to the their products.

The juice is extracted by squeezing it by their hand without using the machine.

They have loved their products, and they have contributed to their locality.

I think this company is a wonderful company.
