Tonight old friends and associates gathered to pay tribute to Toshihiro Kondo, the first president of Ohashi Kyosen Office, and later the president of Thoroughbred Promotions, with which I was affiliated. 
今夜は、古い友人が集まって、大橋巨泉事務所の初代の社長であり、後に私が所属したサラブレッド・プロモーションの社長だった、故近藤利廣氏を偲びました。
Mr. Kondo died earlier this year.
近藤社長は今年に入ってから亡くなりました。
