７月４日のアメリカ独立記念日を記念して、今日、７０人の友達を息子の家に呼んでバーベキューパーティを開催しました。盛大でした。
特に、家族が夏休みでアメリカに行っている、いわゆる「地理的独身男」が勢ぞろいしました。
In celebration of the Fourth of July, we had a barbeque today at my son’s house with about 70 friends.
It was especially well-attended by the geographical bachelors in our midst (those whose families have gone away for the summer).
