Becoming responsible for one's own sense of happiness because accepting life on life's terms means no one's going to do it for you, and that what other people think of you is NONE of your business. Sounds a lot like the Serenity Prayer. Being more mature emotionally and no more crying of a sense of victimization. Living life on life's terms also means no longer disrespecting others and the people who that person loves and who have loved them by being selfish, self-centered, inconsiderate and dishonest. Keeping cool and keep in check the HUGE rollercoaster of feelings that occur in recovery and know that one "belongs" in this world.I can have, I cannot have, all the above,Simply by saying there is a god I love!
