A prequel to GTA Vice City, it is set in 1983 and follows the story of Victor ‘Vic’ Vance. Once a corporal, Vic, forced by his circumstances, comes into the drug trade and is soon framed by his corrupt supervisor under false charges when a deal goes wrong. Now unemployed and undignified, Vic soon gets acquitted to a gang leader, Jay Williams, only killing him later when he kidnaps his wife under the suspension of her having an affair with Vic. After killing Jay, Vic overtakes his gang and renames it ‘ Vance Crime Family ’. With the help of his brother Lance, he begins to eliminate his rival gangs one by one to achieve more power and control over the city.
