Character: Quite anti-social but can be quite chatty with close friends.

Others: She is under Autheuina, the Goddess of Light, an Ancient Higher Being.

Others: She likes all sports especially badminton. Her clothes of choice are always a shirt and a pants, never in a skirt. Outgoing and honest.

Others: She is often quiet and loves reading rather than chatting. Loves animals.

Status: Goddess of the Dark (controls spirits, demons) also called as the "Mother of the Dark"

Others: She loves chaos and dislikes the Order of Maria. She is one of the Ancient Higher Beings. Zula, also one of the Ancient Higher Beings, was Melanie's mother.

Brief introduction to the term/names:

Mixi Academy-

It had a different name originally but was changed after the Trouble. It is a school supervised and guarded by the Order of Maria. Not all students can enroll in here to study. It is a very special and famous reputable school, in which almost everyone (or their parents) in the world world wants to enter and study. The students will definitely find their dream job or a high-pay job and a bright future for all generations. The student must have one of the following conditions. Some conditions were altered after the Trouble and the school was rebuilt.

1. They have billionaire parents, who donated A LOT to the school. Or a very rich sponser.

2. They have a family member who is a member of the Order of Maria, no matter how distant the relative is.

3. They are the member of Order of Maria themselves (including gods and goddessed)

4. They are members of royalties

5. They have a big sponser, like a god/goddess.

6. They are geniuses (and I really mean genius, as they had to undergo very many tests and interviews and

pass through them with full marks before they are admitted)

Sheila and Aila were admitted due to reason no. 1.

Thalasste and me (Aella) were admitted for reason no. 3.

Lacy and Brenda were admitted by reason no. 2

Francesca was admitted by reason no. 4 and (later on) no. 3

May was admitted by reason no. 6.

Order of Maria (OFM)-

It is a well-known organisation all over the world. It consists of human beings and, gods and goddesses. However, almost all the people thought that these "gods and goddesses" were humans with special abilities and powers. They do not associate these people with magic power and strong abilities as the real gods and goddesses who were controlling their lives and nature daily. Even many of the normal human beings who are the members of the Order of Maria, only thought them as special people with abilities too. Only the gods and goddesses themselves knew of each other's real identity. Some upper class human assistants may know of this fact too.

The Order of Maria keeps the peace in the world, especially in cases of unearthly/otherworldly creatures. The humans in OFM gather information and discover unusual situations/things/creatures/conflicts/otherworldly war and report to the OFM. Then the gods and goddesses are sent out to investigate the situation in detail and do their jobs to retain the peace.

The Order of Maria had many connections to many places, including royalties. Even the royalties had to made treaties with them and pay them some repect.

The Order of Maria consists of three types of gods and goddesses.

-Ancient High (Holy) Beings (also sometimes called as a Higher Being that is ancient)

(Melanine, Zula, Paul, Autheuina, Evadne, Loki, Hades.......)

They are not from humans. They were already there since very ancient times. They, unlike "human goddess/god" like me, will not die no matter what. They all had great powers too. Melanie controls the darkness present in the human world and demon world. She can summon demons and orders them around. There was another god who is her sibling. He is Hades, who control hell and demons and ghosts. They, even those who come from humans, won't have the so-called "twins". Zula, their mother, was also one of this. Loki is Melanie's cousin.

-Higher (Holy) Beings

(Thalasste....)

They come from humans, fairies, elves, etc. They become a god/goddess when they die if they fulfil the requirement as well as having the special "light" when they are born. They won't die easily but if they are injured too seriously, causing them to lose their "light power" and spirit, they will dissipate. They had various powers. It all depended on which "nature spirit" or element favoured them.

Thalasste was a water goddess as the water spirits chose her. I am a wind goddess as I have an affinity with the wind.

There are some gods and goddesses who are not named as a Higher Being. They are not put in this category even though they had the same power as the Higher Beings. They are the ones who had "twins". Not all gods/goddesses come from humans with a pure heart. Some special humans became goddesses/gods but these humans have a slightly evil aura. However, in order to be a full goddess/god, the evil aura must not be present. These special humans split into two when they half-die and become goddesses/gods. One of them was the pure goddess/god, the other is the Dark Goddess where the evil aura is contained. Hence the "twins" is formed.

-Holy Beings

These are gods and goddesses who had lesser power than the Ancient High Beings and the Higher Beings. They have magic power too but it is considerably weaker than the ones above. Their most special characteristic is their huge strength. Hence, they are more efficient in fighting with their weapons and using the magic power to enforce their strength or to make their weapon stronger. They don't have the support of the nature or elements but are considered very strong too. They can fight against many of the other creatures and all the humans. Similarly, they won't die easily. But they are weak against magic, unless their weapons can help to withheld any magic attack.

All the names mentioned in the story below had no relation to actual person (if mentioned, it's a coincidence), gods, goddesses in Greek Mythology etc. Some of the names (in reference to gods and goddesses) were changed slightly too. The characters were not followed strictly to the myths around them, and may be different from their original myths. Please do not take the mythical characters, their background and details in this story too seriously.)

At home.......

(*Not written in the diary but was happening during the time of the writing*

"Hey! Don't throw your boots around, put them at the door! Argh! No, not right there! Don't dirty the carpet. Sis will nag us for life if she sees her carpet dirty." "Whatever. I'd love to see her try nagging at me.""You might not care but she will nag at me. Put them at the DOOR!" "Ok, ok, stop nagging. I can't see why you are my twin." "Sad to say, I don't see it either. Why on earth did Zula let you come down?!""I will get insane if I stay in that place any longer!" "I thought there are many demons for you to fight there?" "They are boring. All the same actions..." "Whatever. Don't make any trouble in school, ok?""Hee ha ha ha!""Oh jeez, that sounds ominous." "I'll taka a shower, ta da." "SIGH")

Okay, where was I? Oh right. It was quite an eventful day today and not really in a good way too.

I had a big shock today. Guess whom I saw in the early morning in my classroom, sitting on the seat next to me? Yup, the infamous twin, HER.

My first reaction was of course this:

Me (demanding): What are you doing here? WHY are you HERE?

Aila (who was surprised at my tone, spoke first. I had completely missed her as I had only HER in sight): Aella, she is your twin, of course she is here.. She was telling me just now that she had originally wanted to come to school but fell sick for the past few days. But of course you know this. Why on earth didn't you tell me you had a twin sister? And that she's sick?

(sounding hurt): Aren't I a friend? Why did you keep such a big secret from me? Did everyone else knows about this?

Me (trying out a small smile at her): It's complicated. And no, everyone else didn't know this as well.

HER: Hello, dear Aella. It's been long, isn't it?

Me: Did Zula knows about this?

Her: Of course. She suggests it in the first place.

Me: What?! She allows this?! I....

Aila (looking confused): What are you two talking about?

At this moment, the school bell rang and I could not ask her anymore questions.

Later, during the break.....

HER (turning towards me): Come on, I am not that bad, am I?

Me (grumbling but appeased): I will welcome you if you are not going to cause any trouble for me to clean up.

HER: Don't worry, Zula would have stopped me anyway. She is quite nagging lately.

Me: She is easy-going.....except when it comes to you anyway. You push her limit.

Her (pretending to look innocent): Moi? Don't kid around.

Meanwhile, Aila was looking at our exchange in confusion, amusement and surprise. She had never seen me so outspoken before.

Aila: Aren't you going to introduce your twin to the others?

Me (hesitating): Must I?

HER (enthusiastic): Come on, let's go! I want to meet your friends too.

Aila: Sheila and the rest had a break at the same time today too. It's a good opportunity to introduce her.

After we got out of the class, I whispered to her.

Me: Don't think I don't know what you're up to. You just want to know who my friends are so that you have an edge over me.

HER (grinning): Don't worry, your friends are safe from me. I don't kill......not everytime.

Me: Don't give them trouble, I'm warning you.

She was silent after that, smiling wickedly. Then, we reached the cafetia. Sheila, Francesca and May were sitting near the coffee machine.

Sheila was the first one who saw my twin.

Sheila: Woah! What.....?!

Francesca and May then turned around and saw us too.

Francesca: Aella! She.....!

May looked surprised too.

Aila: Ta da! A big secret revealed! She's Aella's twin.

Francesca: You have a twin too?

(She was obviously thinking about Lacy and Brenda.)

Sheila: A twin?! How can you keep that from us?!

Aila: I was asking her the same question too, Sheila. I found out about this this morning too.

Francesca: Why didn't I see her at school earlier on? She went to a dfferent school previously?

I was feeling awkward and had no idea how to respond. Meanwhile, she answered them.

HER: Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you. I was home-schooled lately until now. It's complicated (she smiled). My name is Theristes.

Francesca, May, Sheila: Hello, Theristes.

Everyone seemed to sense the tension between us and refrained from asking about the home-schooling thing. After some chit-chatting, they talked on the dancing later after school.

Sheila (looking at Aila's blue pants and blue plaid shirt): You did bring your dress, right, Aila?

Aila: Yeah....it is such a nuisance. Why must there be a compulsory dancing activity?!

Theristes (looking interested): Dancing?

Aila: Oh no! I forgot to tell you there is dancing later. Didn't Aella inform you?

Me: It's okay. She is wearing a dress anyway.

Theristes: Do we have a partner?

Sheila: I guess we have to find one at the ballroom later on.

Aila: I heard that girls can partner with each other.

Sheila (seeing Aila looking at her): Don't ask me. I will be looking for a guy to partner with.

Aila (snort): Friendship can't even be compared to love, when it is you concerned.

Sheila: Ask May to partner with you. Right, May?

May nodded in assent.

Francesca: I will ask my boyfriend then.

Theristes (at me): We will be dancing together. Isn't that great?

Me: Alright.

Although I am grumbling at how much she is here, I feel safe around her. We know each other well and trust each other mutually. If it is her dancing with me, I won't feel that awward. I wonder if she feels my feeling instinctively and thus comes down especially on the day of the dancing.

She can be nice.....towards me at least.

The school bell rang shortly after that to signal the end of the break.

It was three when the lesson ended and we have to go for the dancing activity. Aila went to change clothes quickly. Theristes and I waited for her before we went to the ballroom together.

We reached the already starting to be crowded ballroom. The ballroom is huge with beautiful chandeliers and a piano at the side. There is some shiny light bobs floating at the ceiling.

Sheila waved to us. She was with Francesca, May, Thalasste, Lacy and Brenda.

Sheila: You reached here on time. There is still one minute to go.

Lacy: Wow! That's the twin they are talking about. I can't imagine you are one of us too. (As a twin)

Brenda: Nice to meet you. Your name is Theristes, right?

Theristes: Hi

Thalasste went to my side and whispered.

Thalasste: Why is she here?

(She knows about goddesses and their twins, especially mine since she had fought with her before..)

Me: She is bored.

Thalasste (worried): She won't cause trouble, will she?

Me: I hope so anyway.

Sheila introduced her partner, who is her handsome classmate and a vampire, Chris.

Thalasste went to find a partner, who turned out to be a god.

The dancing lesson started and we went off with our respective partners.

I was totally awkward with my dance moves but Theristes helped me. She is a natural at this. I was really relieved when the lesson ended. Everyone was exhausted and went home, promising each other to meet at online chat messenger to discuss about this.

I am in front of the computer right now, waiting for them.

Uh-oh, Theristes wanted the computer for her research homework. I guess I have to move place temporarily. Talk to you later.

Later, before sleeping

Theristes moved her laptop from the other world into the house in the end. (by teleporting the whole thing). She wants to join in the online chatting as well apparently.

Part of our chatting:

Aila: Oh jeez, I am totally exhausted. When will this extra activity ends? I don't think I can take it any longer.

Sheila (at the same time): This is fun. Chris is so gentlemanly.

May: This is a really awkward activity.

Aila (after reading Aila's message): I knew you will have fun in this kind of thing. But I detest it! How I wish it will end now.

Francesca: Boris is so sweet......

Theristes: The song is too bright for me. Isn't there any darker music?

Sheila: Aila, grip yourself together. At least you are with May. Imagine yourself with a guy you don't know. Although Chris is so.........lovely.....

Aila: Isn't ballroom music all the same anyway? I don't really care about it. I hope there is no basketball practices clashing with the dance activity. Or I will be mad, Sheila.

Thalasste: It is not going to drag, is it? I want it to end soon. This is such a nuisance.

Sheila: I will pray for you, Aila, haha. I hope it will last long though. Who knows what will happen between Chris and me if the dance is long.....

Me: I am having diffculties in dancing. How I wish I don't have to do this thing.

Thalasste: We should protest to OFM!

Theristes: Don't worry, I will catch you when you fell.

Francesca: I highly doubt OFM will even care. They want their reputation back no matter what.

Aila: Sheila, watch me roar. Stop harping on that Chris guy. He won't last long for you anyway, mark my words. You change your boyfriends like clothes. Aella, I have problems too, especially the timing. Thank god you are my partner, May, or I will fall flat on my face. Theristes, you are a good sister.

Sheila (before reading Aila's): Not to worry, you will learn it soon enough. Practice makes perfect, Aella.

Francesca: Anyone wanting clothes for the dance? I can give you a discount card for the shops selling them. Especially you, Aila.

Me: Theristes, don't deliberately drop me or I will be seriously angry. Yup, OFM won't care. I had a problem with coordinating too, Aila.

Sheila: Oh, you never know, Aila. I had a feeling Chris is my Mr Right. lol

May: You are welcome, Aila. You had helped me out too.

Aila: Thanks, Francesca. I would need it a LOT. Sheila, you and your instinct. I bet it's totally wrong. Aella, she would really do that? May, i would do that anytime.

Sheila: Thanks, Francesca. Can I buy clothes for other occasions too using the card? Wow, Theristes, that is wicked. Don't do that.

Thalasste: At least you are dancing with a girl. Imagine dancing with a stranger guy. That is really not awesome.

(Lacy and Brenda logged in)

Lacy: Whoa, you all are early. I just come out from the shower.

Brenda: I told you to log in earlier, Lacy.

Theristes: Of course not. My dear sister is kidding, right? haha

(I rolled my eyes on seeing this.)

Aila: Hi, Lacy and Brenda. How is your fashion drawing for Francesca going, Lacy?

Me: Hi, Lacy and Brenda. Got any good deals in the supermarket, Brenda? Lacy, made any good designs?

Francesca: Yes, I would like to know too. I can't wait.

Theristes: Huh? Design? You are a designer, Lacy?

Lacy: I have almost finished it. I will send to you tomorrow, Francesca. And I will guarantee that you will be surprised haha. Yes, Aella, I had some good inspiration today.

Brenda: There are two mushroom cans for only $1! And.......(she talked about the other deals)

Sheila: I want to see it, Lacy! Design one for me when you are free too. I love your designs.

Aila: Francesca, you really love clothes.

Lacy: Theristes, I draw clothes for Francesca occasionally for her. She then tailor-made it for herself. Thanks to her, I have a part-time job. I guess I am a part amateur designer. Thanks, Sheila, I will draw it for you after I finish up Francesca's.

Thalasste: Wow, so many good deals, Brenda. I wish I had gone to the supemarket today. But there had been a new job.

May: You are awesome, Lacy and Brenda.

Me: Brenda, nice job. Thumbs up.

Theristes: I see. A great artist.

Francesca: Can't wait, Lacy. Aila, I have to dress to meet other royalties. The more unique the clothes are, the better. Brenda, you are even more awesome than my maids. Sheila, of course you can.

Brenda: If you need any food, just mention to me. I will help you buy it. On a sale.

Me: You have a new assignment too, Thalasste? I just received a new job today too.

Lacy: Looks like we are busy today.

Theristes: I am recruited into the job too.

Thalasste: Looks like everyone is in demand.

Aila: Yeah, yeah, you are an important person, Francesca. I don't have a job but I do have practices. Guess we are indeed busy.

Sheila: Thanks, Francesca. You two sound so important, Thalasste, Aella. Envy.... You too, Theristes.

And then more chit-chatting. Finally, Francesca touched on a big subject.

Francesca: Speaking on the sore subject of the dancing, the costume party is arranged. It will be held on 20th January. Invitation cards will be sent out soon.

Sheila: Oh goody! I can't wait!

Aila: Yay. A party and a dance I can enjoy.

Lacy: Great. Hmm....what should I coordinate?

Brenda: Food!

Me: I can be a detective now :)

Thalasste: Okay.

May: Yes.

Theristes: Wait, what costume party?

Francesca: We talked on holding a costume party to reduce the unhappiness and stress about the dancing previously, Theristes. You are invited too, of course.

Aila: What are you going as, Theristes?

Sheila: You won't be wearing princess gown, will you, Francesca?

Theristes: It will be a surprise.

(I could see her smirk over here.)

Lacy: If you need any help in the clothes, I can help out too.

Brenda: I will bring along a mushroom basket.

Me: Thanks, Lacy.

Sheila: I will definitely ask for your help, Lacy. Thanks!

Francesca: I will wear as a queen then. That's not a princess, right? Mushroom basket? Intriguing. What are you going as, Brenda?

Aila: I will be a rock star! Hear me sing!

Brenda: I guess the only thing that fits it is.....umm....Red riding hood

Lacy: Welcome. Thalasste, what will you wear as?

Thalasste: ....... mermaid, I think.

And the chatting went on until we logged off to sleep. And now it's time for me to sleep too. Good night, diary. See you tomorrow.

Nearly midnight

Hi. Theristes and I skip school today. Mind you, we did not do it by choice. I had to drag myself awake in the wee morning too. It was really exhausting, especially when I just sleep late last night. Theristes was the one who wake me up. We had received orders in our cellphones to report to duty immediately. I did not hear it as I was sound asleep. However, Theristes, who is a light sleeper (as she needed to defend against enemies at night), woke up immediately. She woke me up and we dressed hastily before going to the headquarter.

There, the god, an Ancient High Being, Paul, ordered us to follow and watch over a man, Louise Anderson. Paul, who had apparently been informed of Theristes's presence by his sister, Zula, warned me to keep her in rein and prevent her from making any trouble. He did not like her much, especially after that time when she had caused chaos six months ago. If he was not sure I could handle this alone, he would not have asked Theristes to assist me in the job.

Apparently this person, Louise Anderson, was making illegal transactions with devils and other unearthly creatures for selfish gains, and in the process, he hurt and kills many innocents. However, no evidence was gathered as they were cleared completely by the creatures involved. Thus, the Order of Maria (OFM) could not apprehend him. They had already sent many gods and a few of the goddesses, or members of OFM to follow him and gather evidence or stop him but they were either injured or killed in the process. Louise had some powerful creatures working for him. Paul wanted to send a Higher Being or even an Ancient High Being but they were too busy with other works. Zula, Hades, Loki and Melanie even refused to take up this job as it concerned partially their territory, the demon world. Thus, to avoid any conflicts, the family did not accept the job. And it was getting more and more out of hand with Louise making more and more evil transactions. He has to be stopped and fast.

In the end, he chose me and Theristes. We are not named one of the High Beings but in actual fact, we had the same power as one of them. We were twins so we were not accepted into the category of the High Beings. In simple word, we are counted as an outcast, as many twins gods/goddesses are.

Anyway, Theristes and I went directly to the forest near Louise's mansion to watch him. We did not really need to see him so to avoid us from being discovered, we settled for a tree quite a distance away from the balcony of his mansion. Theristes had very strong telepathic skills. If she concentrated, she can hear the thoughts (as well as what the man is saying and sometimes his actions) of one man from 15km away. As for me, the wind spirits will help me by blowing the words he is saying and his movement to me.

After a while, Theristes, feeling bored, laid against the tree lazily. "Are they ever going to stop talking there? I WANT some action and excitement, not this boring waiting, for God's sake!"

"I don't think you need to worry about that. Louise is talking with a demon about some deal. I'm sure he will take action soon. In any case, the demon will anyway."
