The problem with my vocabulary

Today I got up at seven thirty although the schedule of class was afternoon. So I could spend many times to study this morning. I watched TED talk and X-men that an American friend of mine lent me last weekend. Nowadays I’m trying to memorize many vocabularies more seriously than before. I have a bad memory and am not good at memorizing something. But even though I’m getting used to keeping up with the speed of conversation in English and can distinguish each word from them, I can’t understand because of lack of vocabulary. So I think memorizing a lot of vocabularies is the only way to improve my English capability for now. Before going to bed and after getting up, I will try to take a second and memorize them.

Hard rock cafe

Today I went to Hard Rock Café near our school with my classmates after class to say good bye one of our classmates who is leaving tomorrow. When I came to current class, I got bored and couldn’t make many friends in our class. But I’ve been staying for over one and half month, and nowadays all my classmates are so interesting. After eating, we went to a big park and were talking for almost two hours sitting bench or on grass. We were talking about our country and culture. There are people from Italy, Korea, and Switzerland, because they all were curious about other cultures. That’s why we could talk about the topic a lot. It was a good time.
Tomorrow I gotta get up early to go play tennis with American and Japanese friends, so I’m gonna sleep as soon as I get this diary done.

Karaoke

Karaoke

Today I went to karaoke with my two friends. To be honest, both of friends are from Japan. I know it’s a bad thing bad I wanted to get rid of stress and one of them invited me, so I decided to go. I haven’t been to karaoke since I came to Boston. I hadn’t known I could sing Japanese song in American karaoke shop. After I met with them at the meeting place, we went to tapioca shop because the karaoke shop would open from 6p.m. We’re talking a lot and after a while I asked them how I can find new apartment to live. They were so kind and tried to find it together there. One of them has been living for 2 years and her pronunciation is pretty good. The other is from china but she can speak Japanese fluently as well as Chinese, as if she were from Japan.
After that we went to karaoke. There were so many Japanese songs there. We were singing a lot of songs. We sang English song a lot as well. I found out karaoke is pretty good thing to understand how I usually pronounce. To be honest, my pronunciation was so bad. And also when I sang a song which tempo is fast, my tongue couldn’t keep up with it. I have to sing rapid song and train my muscle of tongue.

Gossip girl

Today I woke up much earlier than usual, so I could study this morning. In the morning my room is quiet because the roommates staying in the same floor usually sleep around that time. So I could concentrate on my study. And recently I’m watching “Gossip Girl” by registering Netflix. It takes 40 minutes to watch one episode. It’s hard to watch again to review. But the story is so interesting and actress is cute. So I can enjoy watching even though it’s complicated to understand what they’re saying. I can recommend you to watch it. You would like it.
