I want to talk about Friday’s class. We’re talking about the execution system of each country. We divided into two group, pros and cons. The majority were cons. I belonged to the team that opposed it. At first we were discussing in our won team and tried to put our team’s opinion together. After that, we were debating it with pros side. To be honest, I couldn’t speak up a lot. I recently have spoken up a lot during class. But at that time I couldn’t. I got frustrated. The reason is probably that I had no solid opinion of execution. They have strong opinion of it and that’s why they could talk with confidence, I think. I had never considered about it deeply. If I want to talk with confidence, I have to be familiar with it.

Time goes by

Today I got a result of the test that I took at the beginning of this week back. In fact, I couldn’t move up to the next level because of my listening. The results of listening and speaking part were almost average in our class. The reading one surpassed average and borderline. However the listening one was so terrible. I’ve been staying in America for 5 and half months now. My listening is still bad. How can I improve? I have approximately four months left. Nowadays I’ve felt that time in Boston has passed very quickly probably because I hang out more often than before, which shows I’m having good time. It’s a good thing, but on the other hand I don’t study enough time. I have a few plans in this weekend, compared to usual. So I’m planning to study a lot. Promise I’ll move up to the next level at the next level test.

Mr. & Mrs. Bartley’s Burger

Today I went to a burgers shop near Harvard station, which serves many burgers that have strange names, such as the Iphone, the Beyonce, the Obamacare, and even Japanese name, the Koji Uehara. The shop is called Mr. & Mrs. Bartley’s Burger. Almost all menus are reasonable prices. This weekend a Korean friend of mine, who has been staying in Boston for over five months, is leaving. When I came to Boston, she’d already here and we used to spend our time going out together. This weekend many friends of mine are leaving. I can say for sure I will go to Korea before graduating from university. Nowadays I really want to travel Europe. Hope I can go there before graduation.

Considering

Today I didn’t do anything special. But I think I could concentrate on studying English. I got up early as usual and was studying until leaving home and after coming back home I was talking with host father and roommates. Although I’ve already told my host father that I will leave here September 1st, he’s still kind. To be honest, I haven’t found an apartment I will be living from then. I may live with my Japanese friends because the point is, the apartment is very cheap. If I can save the money I have to pay for living in apartment, I can go out a lot and I will get a lot of chances to talk with someone from foreigner, even though there’re only Japanese there. And also it’s easy to hold a party at our house because I don’t need to care about other roommates. I have to decide if I’ll stay there as soon as possible.
