Sneaker News was invited by Jordan Brand to preview some of the great footwear and apparel in store for the upcoming Holiday Air Jordans 1
season. The entire layout was rock-solid from start to finish, as Jordan Brand’s designers Andre Doxey and Justin Taylor introduced their designs for Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony, but we couldn’t help but lay our eyes on this Spring 2013 beauty – the Air Jordan 1 High in the OG White/Red/Black. Arriving with the Jumpman logo on the tongue and heel, this Retro issue will bring forth that ’85 nostalgia that we’re certain even Michael feels from time to time.
This Air Jordan 1 was one of the featured sneakers in a Sneaker News: Was It The Shoes? segment a few weeks back. We recalled one of Michael’s most memorable ‘Retro’ moments, when he broke out the White/Red/Black Air Jordan 1 High in 1998 as a special treat for New York fans (he thought it would be his last game at the Garden).
