Babyshambles

I'm listening to Down to Albion, the long-awaited album of Pete Doherty's new band, Babyshambles.

it sounds like the Libertines, without Carl's voice. really. i begin to think that Pete did all the work.

On the 16 tracks of the disc, there are two which have a French title:

La belle et la bête : The beauty and the beast and A rebours : Going back (or something like that).

the songs are as great as usually honestly it is as good as the last Libs' album.


There is the title of the eleventh track which is connected to the Libs : What Katy Did Next is the following song of What Katie Did. And Albion was already mentionned in earlier songs.


Really good album.

12012 / Dir En Grey, who copied the other ??

I was listening to Shower from a Japanese band called 12012 and i find it not very interesting. i had the impression of listening to DEG except that it wasnt Deg....

But i must had that i know anything about that band : i dont know if it is their first album, who they are...

anyway i think that they were really inspired by DEG....

it is not unbearable, only deja vu.

Indochine

Do you know the French band called Indochine ?

Since 1982 they are quite present and stand for a major band.

Their last song is called Alice et June and try to listen to it if you can. that is a real great song the music is excellent....whaouuuuuuu !!!!!!!!!!

Philosophy...

today i've had philosophy at school...

the problem is not the philosophy , it's just the way it is taughtin France.

I am in the the economic & social secion of the last year of the High School and i have 4 hours of philosophy and it would be the last and only year that i will have those lessons... and in June we have the baccalauréat (a big&serious test) with a great test of philosophy whereas we don't have many lessons....

the subject of my last test in philosophy was :

Suffit-il d'être différent pour être soi-même ?

hard to translate.... something like: Is this enough to be different in order to be himself ?


I got an 8 on 20...

expected that but if you dont understand what teachers want you cant get a good mark..

Retour du concert

Voilà ! je reviens du concert et il m'a fallu une semaine pour m'en remettre !!

Je vais pas vous faire un resumé de la façon dont s'est déroulé le concert parce que ça à été fait sur plein d'autres sites. par contre je mettrais bien la tracklist du concert sauf que je ne connaissais pas la moitié des chansons de Kagerou et DéspairsRay donc c pas la peine !!


J'ai été vachement étonnée par la qualité des deux groupes et surtout par Kagerou, j'étais partie dans l'idée que Despairs était mieux mais pour finir j'ai préféré Kagerou parce qu'il étaient bien plus sympas avec le public que les premiers. Et j'ai failli attraper la baguette de Shizumi !!


Je crois que c'est mieux d'aller à des concerts sans connaitre toutes les chansons. Par exemple j'ai été l'an ernier à un festival et je connaisssais même pas les chansons et je me suis bien amusée !! en fait ça doit dépendre des groupes que l'on voit....


là je suis en train d'écouter le dernier album de Plastic Tree, Cell. je connais pas les paroles et la musique mais je m'amuse vachement!!

that was made by garbage ans comparated to their usual music the different sound was very amazing

It is really hard to sing correctly the song in my opinion.


by the way i find that the lyrics are almost untranslatable (new word!) to French.

2morrow that's the concert of D'espairsRay and Kagerou in Le Trabendo a concert place in paris

I've been waiting for this moment for three months and that is finally arriving.

W/ friends we found out clothes like I never wore before. mini skirt and knee-boots. i wonder why i've accepeted to wear such a thing.i cant telle you what i'll be wearing for bra.

But no turning back

tomorrow will be the evidence that i can do things i don't want.

especially things like that.

There's no more place for the concert. sorry you guys. you should have taken your places b4. ^O^
