Somen is a very popular Japanese noodle that most people like to eat in summer.

It is a very thin noodle made of wheat flour, and Japanese people usually eat it with cold dipping sauce.

 

It was so hot over the weekend with temperatures over 100 degrees F that I was losing my appetite due to headache and summer fatigue.

Even at a time like this, you can eat Somen easily because it’s refreshing and delicious.

 

How to cook:

 

1.     Put 1 or 2 bundles of dried Somen noodles in at least one liter boiling waterand cook for one minute

2.     Cool the boiled noodles with cold water

3.     Prepare dipping sauce, diluting from concentrate if necessary
