Nice to meet you, everyone!
I write a blog first time. Thanks for visiting here.
I started my blog to want people from abroad to read it. This blog might include useful information for you to live in Fukuoka.
I run my Yakitori restaurant here.
Yakitori is one of the Japanese traditional food. The way to make Yakitori is different from region to region.
For example, In Tokyo, Yakitori is just made of only chicken. And some areas within Hokkaido, it's made of only poke though Tori of Yaki-Tori means chicken in Japanese.
While, in Fukuoka, it become Yakitori everything to be able to stick skewer in. So,it's not only chicken, but also beef, poke, fish, shrimp and vegetable can become Yakitori too.
Basically, Yakitori is a stuk bamboo skewer into cut chicken into 2 or 3 cm length pieces. And these are grilled with charcoal fire, electricity or gas fire. Each heating stuff is decided by each restaurant owner's way of thinking.
My restaurant use charcoal which is difficult for us to regulate heating power. But, Yakitori grilled by them taste really juicy and delicious as wearing an aroma of charcoal more than other heating stuff.
I recommend to watch what heating stuff use, if you can take a peek how to cook Yakitori, as the taste is definitely different by using each heating stuff.
I hope you have enjoyable to eat Yakitori on your denier time after read this blog!
