CHEESE CAKE

Finally!!!!!!! Saturday is comingRachel and I planed today's date 2 weeks ago. So so so excited!!!!!
The store is located at Buffalo, USA, and snowing When we arrive at the store, there were too much people..... Surprisingly we need to wait at least 2 hours to eat!!!!!!!!! First, make a reservation, and coming back to get a pager, then again wait for the pager ringing. Actually...... we had been waiting almost 3 hours!!!!!!!! I'm starving to feel hungry. It's already 9:15 although we arrived here 6:20.
hummmmm, every dish sounds delicious, can't decide!!!!!! Finally, i ordered SEARED TUNA TATAKI SALAD Yes!!!!!!! Tataki!!!! so excited We waited again, again and again.....
yah, our meals and HUGE! can't eat any more....and for first time, I did Doggy Bag

Go home??? No way, we came here just for CHEESE CAKE, and sweet goes to another stomach, hahahahah Again the menu made me confused GODIVA cheesecake, hummm maybe too heavy. Anyway, we decided to buy a whole cake!!!!! Tiramisu cheesecake is for go out, then Dutch Apple Caramel Streusel is for here.

Anyway already 10:00 coz our server ie so slow, and maybe she doesn't like us. Our next table is the same lady property, and she served very well for them, but not for us!!!!!!! So annoy, and eventually, Rachel couldn't buy her favourite one, coz it's sold out......If our server had served more quickly, she could have eatenWe are so disappointed, that's why I hate the restaurant system here In Japan, we can ask order for anybody. But here, we need wait our server is coming. When my cheesecake came, my coffee is alreday cold. I wanted to eat HOT coffee with Cheese cake!!!! Ok, why she bring our whole cheese cake and piece of cake at the same time?????? While I eating the piece, she should bring a whole one so that we can reduce the time!
Before Rachel knew she couldn't get her cheesecake, she sateted that even though the service is bad, we need to pay tip. But now her mind changed. So we paid only $2 for &98. I know it's awful, but yah, the service is awful too!!!!
And the worst thing occured at home. My Whole Tiramisu Cheesecake is frozen one!!!! Not fresh one!!!!!!!!
Actually, cheesecake is deliciuous, but not ANY MORE!

Columbia Icefield Chalet

Finally!!!!!!!!!! Mr.Kenn was in the office Where were u????

Lady: "Hello, Glacier Icefield Experience."

Me : "Hello, this is Mika Nagai, can I speak with Mr.Charlton, please?"

Lady: "(laughing) yes, he is there today, just a moment."

Wowwwwwwww, my heart beated so quick, and almost overheated.

Mr.Kenn: "Hello, Kenn is speaking."

Me : "Hello, this is Mika Nagai. Thank you very much for job intervies February 2nd. I just wondering when I can know the answer."

Mr.Kenn: "Actually, I sent an e-mail just now, and we decided to hire u!"

Me: "Oh, Thank you so much!!!!!!! I am so happy. Thank you!!!"

Yahhhhhhhhhhh, I got a so-op job! I have nothing to worry about anymore.

My contract starts at April 28th. Yah, I need to arrive at Calgary airport by 12:30. That means I need to get away from here right after my final exam is done. Of course with my a lot lot lot of stuff.

Anyway, he is really nice. He explained about jobs and properties. hahaha I need to work from 23h to 7h, maybe it's ok. And at the end of the phone, he said "you know, if you have any questions, you can ask mw whenever either way e-mail or phone. You come here far from, so i don't want you to feel anxious, OK?" What a nice man he is!!! I can't wait April!!!!

I am so so so happy, so I wanted to call my mom. But it was still 6 in the morning in Japan. I waited in front of my laptop for half an hour. then called. Guess what!!!! she said?

she said "do they have some steps in the front desk?" what???? yah I know..... I am a very very short and might be not leach at the desk.

When I came back, I checked e-mail, and and and!!!!! I found mail from Glacier Icefield Experience Wow taht's so quick coz I sent my resume yesterday And it stated he would like to discuss more. yeeeeeeeeeeeees that's so nice

So I called Yah, I dislike calling even in Japanese, but today not so much. I thought it's just checking my resume and profile or something. However NO!!!!!!!! It was ACTUAL INTERVIEW OMG I didn't prepare anythingHelp meeeeee!!!!!!

First, he explained about job and its property. That's so sweet My Job is front desk clerk at Icefield Chalet. Then might work at night too, it's allright, i guess. He said many many Japanese came, but u don't need to speak Japanese, so don't worry about the language. Ah, excuse me???? I am Japanese, I really worry about English, not Japanese........Anyway the nature is wonderful, of course I can take a tour if there are vacancies in free Also my wage is so good, hahaha And I can have a own bed room and 3 meal Also I can go to Cargaly in free That's fantastic!!!!!

Then he asked many many things

"What's subject did u enjoy the most at high school?"

What???? Not college??? High school??? Also he asked the least one too The most difficult question was "How do your friends describe u?" Oooops I have no idea...........maybe STRANGE or FUNNY. Nooooo it's not appropriate My feeling was so bad. How can I do this...... And at the end of the calling, I said "have a good night" not "have a nice day" OMG that's so stupid Hope I can get this job............

Christmas tree

Today, we wen to buy a cristmas tree Yes!!!! Here, in Canada, people buy real trees I thought it was too expensive, but surprisingly, not so much. We can buy a tree wich is taller than me with $50 or less really good price

But there were some arguments.......Mom wanna buy skiney one, but Pat wanna buy bigger one. And grandpa doesn't wanna buy, coz he can't understand to cut down trees and decolate them. Finally we bought the first tree

After came back, we decolated them It was really fun and very very beautiful I wrote 2007 in Japanese as a memory and tried to make some ornaments with Origami. But I need 32 pieces, so I am making them. I hope they like my origami

food in winter...........Nabe!!!!!!

Almost all tourism students finished final exams yesterday. And Akane, who is taking Hotel and Restaurant management, has tests in the morning. And I have only one test tomorrow Sooooooooooooo we hold Nabe party

We decided details the last night hahahaha After I came back from ballet, so around 11:00. So quick decision We are fromdifferent regions, Ayaka, Yuka and I came from Kantou, Mina was from Ishikawa and Akane was Kyouto. So our preferences are different and funny Any way we decided to use soup for Nabe.

I brought Maronie, kimuchi ans fish Other ingredients are Chinese cabedge, Chinese onions, dumblins, squid tsumire, tofu and mushroom. Unfortunatelly, water had a trouble It became yellow!!!!!! In addition, we don't have Do-nabe. So we did standing nabe But it was really delicious We love love love Nabe

Any way, I forgot to bring back maronie. So we do again after break

found my place!

My residence is sooooooooo strange If we wanna stay there during this winter break, we need to pay $200 My all Japanese friends go back to Japan, except Akane. And my family came here at the middle of the holiday. Because before the school started, we had been told a winter semester starts January 2 So I told my family if u wanna come, come here by new year holiday. However, our break is until 7th So I need to look for some place where I can stay. I don't wanna stay at residence because it's toooooooooooooo boring and sad. No bus during break, so I need to take taxi I asked some friends, but everybody said we had no extra rooms and beds. Yeah, it's true. Coz we use Futon, and it's easy to prepare extra ones. But to prepare extra beds, we need to but flames and beddings. Too expensive!!!!! I was sooooooooooooo sad and worried about it.

Finally, I asked Akane's roommate, Stephanie. And YEEEEEEEEES I can stay at her house and her boyfriend's house But, it's really funny, Akane doesn't stay here. She goes to States hahaha so strange!!!!!! any way I am so happy

Am I Canadian or International student?

Thesedays, I realized that I am not INTERNATIONAL student, even though my passport is JAPANESE.

I really don't like to show my notes to others. I can't understand that behaviour.... Why do I have to show them? It's their foults, they should take the risks. Howevers, here in Canada, this experience changed my life.

One day, my Canadian friend came and said, "Can you take my notes for next period?" I couldn't understand her meaning at first. She asked me to take notes for her?????? I AM JAPANESE. She knows I'm not good at English. If I were she, I would ask other CANADIAN people. But she asked meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I was so happy coz, maybe she didn't intend that, but I felt I was admitted as THE SAME STUDENT, no difference. But at that time, I found why I couldn't make friends. They treat as the same students as others, not International student. So there are no meanngs to talk to me on purpose. I am Canadian, so I can't expect they talk to me. Yes!!! This is Canada. There are many nationalities, so maybe they think it's normal, and they think i am not exchange student. For me foreigners are special, but for them never!!!!

And she gave me a X'mas card today. And I know she didn't give it to others. Hahaha, a little bit, but really I like here, i think. And thank you very very much Janicccccccccce

I'm back

I'm so lazy, so from today, I start this blog again.

Today I studied about Youkon, which is Northern province in Canada.

We can see Northern Lights there I really wanna see.

My grandma saw it from the I really envy her!!!!!!!

I wanna work

I need to work on campus because I spent a lot ofmoney......But this Saturday, I will go to Wonder Land. Again spend money, hahahahahah. NO!!!! No time to laugh Really need to work.

Fortunatelly, so far I think I can manage my time and work. Therefore, I went to a councelling room and asked if I could teach Japanese. However, therse 7 years, nobody needs Japanese tutor I was really disappointed I love to teach Japanese........Someone come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I went to Job centre and asked to be checked my resume and cover letter. Kindly enough, the woman revised. I hope I can gain job...........Otherwise, I can't live here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the last day to register courses. As you know, I love Frence, so I want to learn French too. However the text book is really expensive, $129!!!!!! So I couldn't decide I would take or not. But, finally I decided my mind and would take. Yesterday I bought text books and opened. It looked nice, maybe I would be able to speak well.

Then, I lined a long queue for residteration today. My turns came, and a woman said........."You can't take this course, full of people."

"What?????"

"There are no space you can take."

I was really disappointed, I payed for my textbooks and opened them. If I had not opened them, I could have ask refund........ But can't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really waste of money.......I was so sad......Sorry for my parents.........

However, French guy lives in residence, and I asked him if he could teach me French, and he said, I can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really really happy now
