today, we went to each our town to collect books.

when, i explained our donating book project to my neighbor, they smailed and said "we are willing to coorporate with your project."
i was very happy to hear that.

in addition, some my friends
find unnecessary books and give us them.

my cousine also bring books next week.

June 13th

today we called Tezukayama Gakuin because it took very long time to reply.
we asked we could teach english at the elementary school of Tezukayama Gakuin or not.
the answer was no.
we were not accepted.

we had to change our plan again, so we concentrated on donating book project.
first, we listed up the volunteer group which is donating book group.
we will donate books to Tohoku through some of volunteer group.
there were a lot of group, so we choices minor group.
we think the big group, like Unicef, already gathered a lot of books, so it is better to send book to minor volunteer group.

second, we made schedule about our new plan, donating book project.
will collect books from neighborhood because Ozzy already started to collect books at CUBE.

we have to think about our group name, money to send books and place to keep books.

6th June

Guest speaker came in this day.　She is a designer for Batik. Batik is one of the way of coloring clothes. It is famous in Indonesia. It is used for scarfs, clothes and so on. Batik has 2 types. One is a handmade. The other one is a copy and print. Handmade Batik was very very expensive, but printing Batik is very cheap. Few years ago, the way of printing was not good. It was easy to judge 'which is the handmade and printing?'. Recently, difficult to judge. She is a member of expanding Batik group. The group is not only pay money or gave volunteer worker. The group help to sell Batik. It is like a middle sell possession. The group and making Batik group can get profit. It is so good. I thought NPO group is not get profit, but the group gets profit. Batik has a high value, so the group wanted to protect the high value and expand classic Batik to the world. She tried design Batik for KIMONO and she sometimes open the showcase of her design Batik.

She was not member of the NPO, she went to Indonesia by her money. It is very difficult for me, so she is so great. After presentation, she showed us Batiks. Batik is very small design and beautiful. I surprised , because it was handmade.

Her presentation was so fun. It because, I could know new type of running cycle of NPO. It is new business.

May 30th

today we did presentation about our volunteer plan.
at the end of our presentation, we demonstrated the class with english game, pictionary.
we are going to teach English with English games like pictionary to enjoy learning.

after the presentation, we completed our application form.
we went to the CUBE office to get sign because Tezkayama Gakuin needed university sign.
we also got our project teacher's sign.
after that, we handed in our application form to Tezukayama Gakuin.
Tezukayama Gakuin said "we will consider about your application. please wait for my replying."
that's all we did today.

keiko wrote the blog of 16th.

first, we searched a template of proposal on the Internet, and find it.

we made proposal in japanese for the CUBE office, and in English for Rojer.

when we made proposal, we think about the way to teach English for the children.

we thought English game, like pictionary,is good for children.
we picked up 6 games.

we wanted children to enjoy studying English.

we went to Tezukaya gakuin
kinder garden & elementaly school.

and we met principal. He is a principal who is both principal between Kindergarden & Elementaly school.


and he said to us
"that is so good things, but kindergarden is little bit difficult.."

and so he saggested
"how about elementaly school ?"


and so we did deside to go and do something in elementaly school.


but he said to us

" please make a proposal about what will you do and bring it again ! and then he think about it again."

Summmary 2nd May

today we telephone to kindergarden again. First we telephone to Ichisatoyama Kindergarden but, they dindnt want to help. and next we researched kindergarden that they want to help something. And then we can found one one kiner garden. However that kindergarden is kind of difficult... It because that kindergardens children have a risks that is they cant talk well and something like that. However they want to help to guide kindergarden to the house, but the time is not good for us. It mean we have a school... and so we told "we wanna teach easy english!!!" and then Kindergarden said "that is a good, but sometime difficult..." and so we consider about it, and then we decided no...
and then I decided to telephone to my kindergarden!! (Tezukayama Gakuin) . that is far from here,,, but i think that is a better to do it!
However May 2nd is GW and so kinder garden is close,,, so we will call another day!

and finally we found a web site! that is they need something like book, clothe and so on.


that is last week we did.

i can contact with Tezukayama Gakuin Kindergardens manager and then we can meet director tomorrow!!


and then we consider about another plan! when we cant to help Tezukayama Kindergarden.


1 we will go to some house where is neighborhood. and then we correct some books.

2 or we announce in CUBE and correct a books

3 we go to somewhere and correct a money and buy something like a books and DVD and so on.

4 and then we join to one of a Volunteer Group and then we donate them!
