I don't easily remember people's face. Even in a show, I need to see it several times before recognizing it. Even that person who betrayed me, I didn't really remember how they look like. That's good for them because if I ever meet them again I can't guarantee if I won't hurt them.
Until that day.
Just suddenly, in a mall, I could imagine their face in my head. It's been months since last time I met them, and suddenly I could picture how they look like. In a random place inside a mall. I didn't even think of him consciously, suddenly the image popped out in my brain. It was almost as clear as I saw them myself. I wonder if it's because we once went there together.
You're not safe anymore.
Ever since I bought a 3ds, I started to buy original games. Not just 3ds games, but also ds games. It's true that you can play pirated ds games on 3ds but.. I want to stop doing it.
Piracy is bad. You can't say otherwise. We're raised in society to think that it's acceptable to do. "It's 2013, it's ok to do this. I mean, who don't? We've been doing this anyway. And we're still okay." It's probably okay for you, but not for the industry. To make a game, it's not as easy as breathing. It's not automatic. And there's industry running behind it. And just like other industries, the production depends on sales. Low sales, no more production.
I was late realizing that when I heard that a sequel of series I loved won't be localized in USA because the prequel had really low sales. People are raging because they think it's a good game, but how many of you bought the original games? Did you even do yourself a favor to support the industry? It was part of our fault. Yeah, I was one of those people who didn't buy the game.
The reason why I didn't buy the game was because I didn't have the required handheld, because I wasn't allowed to have one by my parents. Me, who still relied on parents to buy stuffs to live, couldn't afford it. Or maybe I should say, I refused to afford it. I could buy one if I wanted, but I spent it on another things. But still, it's not right excuse to enjoy something I shouldn't have. I don't pay for entertainment, I don't have right to get entertained.
I still don't have job, but I struggle to buy games I pirated back then, one by one. It's not an easy task since old games are often sold in high price, and it's hard to find in my country which pirates 99.99% of released games. I buy new games that are exclusively released for 3ds too, thank goodness I'm not such a gamer so not so many games I'm interested in. I'm more focused to look for the ds games, when I see one selling it I immediately grab it. If I don't do it fast, it will vanish before my eyes.
I'm a bit afraid that my action looks like arrogance in front of some people, like I want to show that I'm rich or something. Honestly, I believe most of my friends are richer than me. I'm not rich at all, I struggle to save money in order to buy those games. I was fasting for two months to buy my 3ds, so I deserve it. I will proudly show it off to people, not because I could buy it, but because I deserve my 3ds. I know you also can, but you just choose not to. It's not like I'm saying that you're bad, I know some of you need money to buy something more important, like school or medicine. And yeah, prioritizing those things is not wrong. But it won't hurt to buy your favorite title once a while. The series made you happy, so why don't you show some appreciation?
What pissed me off is when some people don't think game industry seriously, games won't just pop out just because you want it, you know. Also some people who sell pirated games in low price., and they don't even feel guilty. "Why pay if you can get it for free :P" Why don't I just smack your face. Imagine if you work hard to create something and lots of people enjoy it without giving you any credit!!

Why would some artist say their art sucks..
I understand if you don't want to act cocky but if you do it almost all of the time it's really annoying.
"Ugh I can't draw hands"
"lol I suck at this"
"How to make background teach me"
That applies to both good and developing artists. When good artist does that, it looks like they're mocking people that can't draw at all. When developing (if you don't want me to say "bad") artist does that, it makes awkward situation; because I don't want to lie saying it's good, but if I say it is bad indeed I'll look like a jerk.
Do you honestly think that your art sucks, because if you do then why do you keep showing it off to our face. You're actually proud of what you drew, aren't you? And you're pissed off because only few people responded to it. Then you do yourself a favor to bring your art up again so more people can see it. You probably think "There weren't many people online at that time, so I should show it again." Do you seriously believe that? Some people maybe actually saw it already and they didn't give a response because they didn't feel anything. It's that simple. Some people like me may get tired of it, "Ugh why do I have to see this piece of crap again today."
And what you're doing can make reverse result. I now have habit ignoring all your art posts because you'll bring it up again later anyway, also whatever you draw doesn't really look special. Seriously do you even try.
If people don't respond, it's because you don't deserve it. It's that simple. Why is it hard to understand.
I even apply that to myself. Whenever I make art which doesn't gain response, I take it it doesn't give special feeling to people who see it. If I intended to make cool art, then it means my art is not cool. If I intended to be funny, then it mean my idea is not funny. That's how I value myself. "No people responses" is a response too. And when I get that, I don't waste my time to bring up my old shit. Make new ones! Make better ones! Stop asking for attention that you don't deserve.
Also some askblogs on tumblr.. some of them are really just
There's this one who always say about how bad their art is. The truth is, it is bad. But what pisses me off is the fact that they admit that their art is bad. If you really think it's bad, why did you even post it??? You have to do your best for each questions you do. You're serving your blog visitors. When you apologize for your lack of skill it sounds more like "Sorry I know it's bad but here it is. I'm too lazy to make it good." Seriously you can't expect people will say "You did a good job" all the time. The world is not that easy.
Just, say what's happening on your art or something. I don't fucking care about how long you made it, not enough time is not excuse for your bad art. If you spend more time it will still look bad anyway. Also spending 578645 hours on it doesn't guarantee that it's your masterpiece or anything.
God if I say this on tumblr I would get trouble and probably lose some friends lmao
