Set on Pearl Harbor's Richardson Field, the event paid tribute to the men and women serving our nation and the long relationship the NFL has shared with them.
"The D.J. Swearinger Jersey reception was attended by 5,000 people, including NFL owners, team executives, top leaders of corporate partners, members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and fans," said Washington Headquarters Executive Director David W. The party goers entered through a museum tent which displayed giant photos highlighting the players featured in "GIs of the Gridiron." Another tent honored the NFL players and cheerleaders who visited military bases around the world. In both tents the special 13 minute version of "GIs of the Gridiron" was run continuously throughout the party. More than 3,000 DAV Veterans Day posters featuring the "GIs of the Gridiron" players were handed out to those attending the event.
"The party was a huge hit," said Lorie Murphy, vice president of the company that produced the entertainment at the event. "The DAV's materials were great! The video was shown on plasma screens in the tents to an appreciative crowd."
"Including DAV at the gala DeAndre Hopkins Authentic Jersey event is another part of our program with the NFL," said Gorman. "And we expect our program to continue growing."
Additional NFL teams, including the Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots, are now www.texansonlineprostore.com/WOMENS-KAREEM-JACKSON-JERSEY.html working with the DAV to develop special player autograph cards. Other teams have indicated a desire to begin producing autograph cards.
The autograph cards feature players, coaches and mascots who make many public appearances each season. The celebrities autograph the cards, which include DeAndre Hopkins Womens Jersey the DAV's message of service to veterans.
"The cards become keepsakes for the fans, who will always have the information for veterans to contact the DAV should they need our assistance," said Gorman.
The cards have been praised by many teams which now use them, and the video received widespread acclaim last season when it was shown in NFL stadiums and broadcast on local, cable and network television.
"We appreciate NFL teams and league officials for their support of the DAV and our mission outreach," said Gorman. "The NFL has shown D.J. Swearinger Limited Jersey that they care deeply for disabled veterans and want to honor their contributions to our nation."
