果物とお茶を頂いた後、ホーリーマザーが滞在していたというJagadamba Ashramaとkoalparaを
早足で巡礼しました。
それから、マザーが沐浴をした河が奇麗な記念公園になっており、訪ねました。
整った花壇を抜けた一番奥には、その生涯が、物語として場面ごとに絵と文で展示されていたおりま した。
それから、ちょうどMoon Prasadの時間にJairanbatiに帰着し、
草の葉っぱにご飯やカレーを 盛っていただきました。
なぜか食欲旺盛になり、沢山頂きました。
その日は学問と芸術の神様であるサラスワティーの日でした。
学生たちがそれは見事な像を作成し、それを 自転車に乗せて、
移動しようとしていました。
ホーリーマザーのお写真が背面にはありました。
のどかで美しいJairanbatiのメインテンプルの横で、
しばらく独りで、
色とりどりの花が咲く庭を、
見ておりまし たら、
「日本人が好きです」という少女が
お母さんと一緒に話しかけてくれました。
インドの少年少女の多くが
日本人を尊敬し愛してくれていることが解り、
とても、うれしくなりました。
