We have been maried since July 7th, 2015.

And we went to Northen Europe as our honeymoon from October 17th to November 3th.

It was was the second times for me to travel abroad.

On October 17th, 2015, we arrived to Japan and went to Oslo in Norway.

When we arrived the hotel, it was already 7 pm, so we bought some food and ate them, and then slept soon.

And the next day, we enjoied sightseeing in Oslo.

We went to Vigeland park, Viking Ship Museum, The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, Munch Museum, Oslo National Museum, and Akershus Castle and Fortress.

We saw artworks made by Gustav Vigeland who is a sculptor(彫刻家) at Vigeland park.

These were many kinds of human carving(彫刻) and these pose were very unique.

And we saw some big and old viking ships at Viking Ship Museum.

Those design, especially part of the top was scroll shaped, were unique.

I really wanted to see a "Stave church".

*Stave church  by wikipedia

"A stave church is a medieval wooden Christian church building once common in north-western Europe.

Originally much more widespread, most of the surviving stave churches are in Norway."

One of them is in The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History.

So I decided to go there.

And there were other historic buildings, too.

And then, we went to two museums, Munch Museum and Oslo National Museum.

Both museums have artworks painted by Munch.

Munch is very popular in Japan as a great painter.

Especially the "The Scream" is the most popular artwork in his works.

So I wanted to see it.

The original "The Scream" was very good.

I was able to see the detail and feel his emotion.

It was really good experience for me.

And we went to an Akershus Castle and Fortress, too.

It was good, but I was tired because too much schedules at one day.

And nextday, on Otover 19th, we had a lot of transfers this day.

First, we got on the Bergen Railway from Oslo station at 8:30 am to go to Myrdal station.

It took about 4 and halh hours.

At middle of the way, we were able to see a beautiful lake view from Finse station.

And at Myrdal station, we changed train to Flam Railway.
It took about a hour to go to Flam station.

* Flåm Line

"A branch line of the Bergen Line, it runs through the valley of Flåmsdalen and connects the mainline with Sognefjord. Because of its steep gradient and picturesque nature, the Flåm Line is now almost exclusively a tourist service and has become the third-most visited tourist attraction in Norway."

The view from Flam Railway was soooo amazing !!

There were cute small huouses around the valley.

The view was like the one scene of the picture book !

And then, we arrived at Flam, and we boarded the ship to cruise fjord.

The cruise took two hours.

There were great views again!

And it was the season at the leaves turn them color, so the scenery beggars all description.

The water surface reflected the trees whose leaves have turned yellow, so these looked dobble.

The view was really really beautiful.

After we got off the ship, we got on the bus to go to Voss station.

It took one hour.

And then, we got on the Bergen Railway again to go to Bergen.

Finally, we arrived Bergen, it's already 8 pm and it was dark.

We were very tired, so went to our hotel room and fell asleep right away.
