The land parcel would be transferred to the diplomatic mission and international organization to build the embassies and chanceries.
In 1953 an additional of 132 hectares of land was added for the Diplomatic Enclave Extension. In total, 460 hectares of land were collected for the development project. Out of 460 hectors, 147 hectors were allotted to 76 embassies, and the rest 317 hectors of land were utilized for building roads, schools, parks, hospitals, residential plots, and infrastructure.
