Okaaay! so, the other day on one of my posts, Mari asked me a question.
「hellaって1行目に書いてあるじゃん?
これ調べてもしっくりくる意味がないのね、
(ギリシャってゆう意味しか出ない...)
Americaだとどうゆう感じで使うの?
教えてーーー(｡･ω･)ﾉ」

I tried looking it up, but there's not really a definition.
(nothing but stuff about Greece comes up...)

I use "hella" and stuff a loooooot, hahaha!
実は、ｈellaは、アメリカ中の単語なんてじゃないけど・・ｗ それは、カリフォルニアの北だけに使う言葉なんや。 ははっ
Actually, "hella" isn't really a word that is used in all of America, lol. It's a word that is really only used in Northern California. haha
例えば、誰かが「hella」って言ったら、すぐ「あっ！あの方はNorCal （カリフォルニアの北。Northern California → NorCal） から来たの！！」って知ってるはず。
Like, if someone said "hella", then you'd know "oh! that' person's from NorCal!"
もちろん、うちもNorCalに住んでるッ～♪
Of course, I live in NorCal, too ^^
意味は、「めっちゃ」、「すごく」、「とっても」、「超」みたいな感じやで！
It means the same sort of feeling as the words, "meccha", "sugoku", "tottemo", and "chou" in Japanese.
例： For example:
That was hella cool!
そりゃめっちゃ括弧良かった！
He's HELLA pissed off!
あいつ、すっごく起こってる！
I'm hella tired!
超疲れてる！！
あと、「全然嫌だ」みたいな感じ？
And sort of like, "you don't like it at all"? It's hard to explain..
例： For example:
I hella don't wanna go home!
全然帰る気がない！
I hella don't wanna do homework!
全然宿題やる気がない！
I hella don't wanna study!
全然勉強する気がない！
このタメ語はちょっと複雑から上手く説明できなくてごめんね、Mariさん。でも、これでもうちょっと理解出来るように！！
This slang is a little complicated, so sorry that I couldn't really explain it well, Mari. But I hope that with this you can understand it a little better!
