Biologists at the University of California, Berkeley in the United States used the latest technology to sequence 88 types of rockfish tissues and compared and investigated them.
その結果、長寿の種は、主にDNA修復、インスリン調節、免疫調節の遺伝子を変異させることで、寿命を延ばしていると解った。
