FIELD TRIP

When I heard that we are going to

THE LITTLE WORLD for field trip,

I thought that it's a park where

famous places around the

world are shrunk in sizes.

Want to know about anything,

just search online !!

Browsing through the website,

I thought this place looks fun.... :D

It's an hour bus ride from Nagoya

to the place.

Still within the Aichi prefecture,

but in another town.

Statue that relates to :

THE LITTLE WORLD ; MUSEUM OF MAN.....

This is such a nice wallpaper,

An evolution that took 4 billion years...

from plankton

it evolves to X X X X X X ,

to dinosaur,

to X X X X X,

to primates,

to X X X X X X,

and human became human....

The indoor exhibit was as interesting as the

outdoor park.....

+ No soul around .....

On the 2nd level of the museum

the light was dimmed with some tribal music

was playing in the background.

Not unusual, Fred didnt feel comfortable

in this place.

Ga-san was with me but it

could be eerie if I was alone.

Anyways, we started the trip

walking the route and then inside

the museum. It was a 2.5 km walk which we

took 4 hours to finish. Like what I saw from

the website, the place was so beautiful...

Nice sceneries and nice architecture....

A lot of information to read too....

Many parks in LITTLE WORLD too.

Dogs are welcome, but not inside the

houses ....

How many different countries did they have?

10-14 maybe.....

Many other activities to do too....

Like the below,

collecting stamp at each checkpoint...

Japanese are very fond of collect stamps...

For eg, collecting POKEMON stamps

at train stations

and then collecting a reward upon completion...

You can try food from

PERU, GERMANY, INDIA,

TAIWAN +++++

Photo taking in various costumes

was also possible !!

I got the photo of Hee-san from FB.....

Many others wore the same

italian costume but she look

the best, must be the hair color... Hoho...

If my friends from SG were around,

we would be taking such photos too, I guess.....

合格したいので、

復習時間を増やさざるを得ない。。。

Fred's mum says it's good to

to the temple to 点灯油 before the

N2 test, but fred says

even if she build a temple,

it cant change anything...

Totally has no hope for

the test... True, he's playing

game NOW !!

And after the N2, it's school's

test...

And then Fred's mother and

grandmother will be here the next day...

So it's proper house cleaning

Parcel came

I knew I was expecting a parcel.

And it came last evening when no one at at home.

I was on bus full of chinese when I heard

The postman came.....

Door bell works better than alarm....

I wonder how big his

luggage was. If he could bring this,

he could have brought more

amazing things......

The second home~

Fred revamped the bedrooms because

his mum and grandmother

are coming in December.

I thought the new layout looks

better and so it can be shown !!

STUDYROOM

JAPANESE WARDROBE

is deep enough in depth that you

can store the fan you use

in Summer, the blanket you use

in Winter, and also

some dismantled furniture.........

BUT there do not come with hanging bars

and it's all exposed wood !

Nonono, I learned about something

new (to me) called double sided

eyelid sticker from JY.

The original one is expensive,

but Daiso does sell them.

Packaging does not look prefessional

but anyways, they work the same way....

I applied fake eyelashes too,

eyes could hardly blink properly

the whole day...

So Kawaii~ ∑ヾ(￣0￣;ﾉ

又假有不舒服。。。。

A part of daily life

No matter how small a Japanese house could be,

I think there would definitely be a bath tub....

Although it is not our habit to 泡澡。。。

When it's cold (NOW) , we OFURO a lot.....

And anything in Japan comes in a wide range...

Like the bath powders below...

I am more interested in the solid form

bath powders that

give you a key chain or

something at the end of the bath.

I tot that Jelly bean was cute

so I just tried it just

10 mins ago...

And this is what you get after

the powder has dissolved.

Put a chain through and it's a key chain...

Very cute but the scent was not very nice..

Have tried a Chopper one before too,

seems like all bath powders which

have toy embedded

do not smell too good....

But there is one which I would

like to try next,

it comes in the case of a chili shape,

probably meant for burning fats and make you silm

which I know does not work....

Real Chinese Food this time ! ! ! !

Last night,

We had dinner at a restaurant

recommended by Jasmine.

She says that if we have $$ and

wanna try some canto food,

try 福臨門 at Midland Square...

When I found out that it is located

on the 41st floor,

I thought, wooo, sounds expensive.

It was a restaurant with nice ambience.

You pay 60% for the food and

40% for the view.

So it was 5 times more for the prices

in SG for the century egg dish,

sweet sour pork,

fried rice and dessert......

But at least, it taste Chinese ! ! ! ! ! !

Where can you find century egg

in Japan ! ! ! ! !

And the fried rice was THAI RICE ! ! !

Very much like the chinese

restaurant in Pan Pac.....

I didnt realize Midland Square

was so high....

It was an Authentic chinese restaurant

but

can't afford to have it often.......

The day why we are in Japan for

Today was an important day.

While I am back at home now,

Fred and Nic are doing design

test in the uni.

If I pass the entrance exam,

I will be doing Glass art as

a third year student.

Result will be released on

next Friday.

Hopefull all will go

well and we will be

real 留学生 in April, next year.

There is only interview

for the arts department

and we have to show

the lecturers, the artifact

we have done before.

I didnt have one with me,

but I did prepare my

portfolio when I was back in Sg

during September.

The least I could do here, was to

do a drawing to show the lecturers.

After 3 years away from school,

I was pleased with the work I produced in 5 hours.

But I wasnt too hardworking

to work on it in 1 day,

I took 30-60 mins across 5 days??

From today onwards,

It's a MUST to increase the study hours since

we are taking the JLPT in December and

if we dont pass, it's a waste of money for

the extra tuition and test fee, of course ...

But firstly,

We are looking forward to know

the University Entrance result...

That will determine if we will

have the drive to study hard !!
