Flat days are not uncommon. If there are no waves on the west coast, head to the east coast. There is one thing you need to be careful of, though. In Okinawa, surfing is only possible during high tide. You might be looking for waves when you suddenly realize that high tide has passed. Such incidents are not uncommon. Make sure you understand the wave conditions in Okinawa before looking for waves. If it’s not cold, your precious holiday will be wasted. Have fun and be safe!
