Justin Tuck says Giants were a 'check with me' defense in first Milan Lucic Authentic Jersey half

"I think, you know, Perry is pretty good at scheming, he really is," Justin Tuck said. "But sometimes you can have so much and it slows you down because, mentally, you're thinking about all the checks you have."
He added: "I thought we were more of a 'check with me defense' in the first half, and that didn't really allow us to play fast. So, I give (Perry) a lot of credit saying 'we need to simplify this.' We agreed. And he's put together three pretty good game plans back to back where we've played pretty awesome and hopefully we can continue to do so."
With so many moving parts, eliminating the calls makes sense. Ryan Mundy will not understand a call like Antrel Rolle. Jon Beason will not get one like Mark Herzlich.
"We took it upon ourselves to internalize it, to play faster and to not think as much while we're out there," Spencer Paysinger said. "The game plan is pretty much the same, but we're meeting more, we're talking more, we're communicating more. It's been good the past few weeks."
