日本人と特定された外国人を含む4人の個人が、人身売買のためにパサイ市の国家調査局（NBI）によって逮捕されました。
NBIの担当役員（OIC）のディレクターであるEric Distorは、逮捕された人々を、マニラ国際王および女王のマネージャーである秋葉宏と特定しました。 そして、メアリー・ジェーン・サントス、ジャネット・ゴンザレス、およびエルリンダ・メリロとして特定された当該施設の3人の従業員。
ディスター所長によると、逮捕は、パサイ市での当該事業所の運営に関してNBIが受け取った、アキバが運営している情報に起因している。 クラブは、8,000ペソからの料金と引き換えに、性的サービスのために若いフィリピン人女性を外国人に売り込んでいると言われています。
NBI-国際事業部（NBI-IOD）は、ゲストを装った「プレイヤー」の参加と施設が提供するサービスの利用を伴う事業を直ちに推進しました。
この作戦はまた、人身売買の犠牲者であるとされる55人の女性の救助をもたらした。 その後、彼らは調査のためにNBI-IOD事務所に運ばれました。 押収されたのは、工作員が使用し、施設のレジ係で見つかったマークされたお金でした。
さらなる調査により、クラブで働く女性はFacebookを通じて募集されたことが明らかになりました。
逮捕された人々は、拡大された人身売買防止法に違反したとして、パサイ市検察庁に死因審問の手続きのために連れて行かれました。
4 suspected human traffickers arrested

FOUR individuals, including a foreigner identified as a Japanese, were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Pasay City for human trafficking.
NBI Officer-In-Charge (OIC) Director Eric Distor identified those arrested as Hiroshi Akiba, manager of International King and Queen Manila; and three employees of the said establishment identified as Mary Jane Santos, Jeanette Gonzales, and Erlinda Merillo.
According to Director Distor, the arrests stemmed from information the NBI received regarding the operation of the said business establishment in Pasay City and operated by Akiba. The club is allegedly peddling young Filipino women to foreigners for sexual services in exchange for a fee starting from P8,000.
The NBI- International Operations Division (NBI-IOD) immediately pushed through with an operation involving the participation of "players" who posed as guests and availing the services being offered by the establishment.
The said operation also resulted in the rescue of 55 women alleged to be victims of human trafficking. They were subsequently brought to the NBI-IOD office for investigation. Seized were the marked money used by operatives and found at the cashier of the establishment.
Further investigation revealed that the women working in the club were recruited through Facebook.
Those arrested were brought for inquest proceedings before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Pasay for violation of the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
