It's been 5 months since I last update here. Things have gone as usual: WORK - SCHOOL - WORK - SCHOOL and we are finally at the last stretch of the year. Will be going Bali for a short staff retreat next week. Praying for fine weather and a whole lot of FUN!
『るろうに剣心』 opened in Singapore on Thursday so went out with the babes last night to catch it. The action scenes were good but the storyline was quite choppy. Like it jumped from one to another without a smooth transition but hey! Nice blood splatter :D
And getting to hear "The Beginning" blasting over the the movie theatre speakers was pure gold.
Another week has passed and what a week it has been!
First, dear chipmunk a.k.a. 櫻井翔-様 dropped on our fair shore along with the cast and crew of 謎ディ. I have to say, this man can disappear with a moment's notice (-^□^-) Only saw the filming at Raffles Hotel and that's it. Shochi! I applaud you for your mad ninja skillz (must be a prerequisite before he even became Kageyama). Also on behalf of the fans here, I do apologise for those horrible behaviour you faced. No wonder you are FACE DOWN the whole time.
Next, my mice band a.k.a. ONE OK ROCK ... UNBELIEVABLE! I have waited 5 years hoping to see them live one day and they came here instead! Such an amazing live. Seriously, Taka and his voice. How do you maintain such clarity even when jumping around like crazy? Even us fans had to take a breather amidst the head-banging and jumping. But it was totally worth it! ONE OK ROCK最高！！！
It's been a week since I've returned from Tokyo and still feels like a dream. Especially since it was my first time to go Japan and see Arashi at the same time.
The trip itself wasn't premeditated. I was pissed off at work and needed to get away so when the announcement came regarding 嵐のワクワク学校, it just felt like a calling.
Coupled that with the brat's birthday and the fact that I last saw them was 4 years ago in Taipei, I was definitely overdue for another encounter with Arashi.
And I regret nothing!!! Except not getting to eat as much as I want...
I'm thankful to all my buddies who followed through and helped me, my parents for totally giving me free way to pursue Arashi (mama wanted me to bring J back for her ) and all the SPIES as well.
