はい。ドリーム・シアターの和訳第二弾です。
今回もキャッチーな選曲ですね。
もはや解説不要かもしれませんが、
この曲は当時のDrums担当マイク・ポートノイのお父さんが
余命宣告を受けた後にマイキーが父のために作った曲です。
爽やかな楽曲と心に染みる歌詞、そしてジョンペトルーシ様の泣きソロ！
何度聴いても飽きない名曲です。
曲が好きというのもありますが、私自身今日が父の命日です。
私の父も、私の日々を明るく導いてくれているんだと感じますね。
特に命日の一日は、父に守られているような不思議な感覚に包まれるのです。
きっと今日はとびきり張り切って、天から見守ってくれてるんでしょう。
そんな私にも子が産まれ、今度は自分が父親になりました。
親子の絆は脈々と受け継がれていきますね。
そんなポートノイは現在激ヤセしました。
