Toshiba Launches Strata CIX40

Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. Telecommunication Systems Division (TAIS TSD) today announced that it has expanded its award-winning Strata(R) CIX(TM) family of IP business communications systems with the launch of Strata CIX40 IP business communication system. Designed specifically for small companies, Strata CIX40 supports up to 16 station ports and eight IP channels. The launch of Strata CIX40 completes Toshiba’s transition of its entire product line to Voice over IP.

Strata CIX40 was designed, engineered, and built by Toshiba, based on the company’s 30-year history of product and technology research and development in the United States and Japan. It uses a high-speed 32-bit RISC processor, DRAM working memory, and SRAM with lithium battery for back-up memory. It comes with the backing of Toshiba’s reliable service and customer support, its extensive National Accounts program and Toshiba’s ValuePlus(TM) Warranty, the industry’s only seven-year manufacturer’s extended warranty.

Retail prices of Strata CIX systems are set by Authorized Toshiba Dealers who sell to end users.
