ENDLESS DARK

Gouta lashed out from his bed, recalling the events that happened in his early days as a techno musician. There a momentary delay when Gouta remembered on how he was first treated back in Okinawa. He could only remember that the girl he was falling for is his long time crush "Kim Cho" from Korea, who is now a professional model.

Five years ago, a shy Gouta tried to approach Kim to say one last goodbye before leaving for Korea. However, a rival of Gouta named  "Han Kawano" stepped in the way, and a hopeless Gouta was force to watch Han give Kim a goodbye kiss and Gouta ran away and threw away the present he was about to give to Kim. But somehow, Kim later picked up the gift.

"Have a safe trip :)"

Three months later, Gouta joins a techno band called "The Beat Boys" along with former blogger "Fumiki Toyama" and together the two performed various sketches and beats. Gouta used his turntable abilities to hardened the beat, while Fumiki uses his beatbox vocal ability to attract the attention of Otoya Saito, the owner of Cherry Records. Fumiki's vocal ability lasted for 45 seconds and at the same time, the music stopped playing and with this, Otoya became impressed an interested and quickly had them sign his contract and they duo became a star.

But not for long, Gouta became irritated when Fumiki started losing himself when he started taking cannabis, smoking weed, gambling and missing the schedules of tour dates after celebrating a victory party of their first world tour. A frustrated Otoya then held a meeting for the two because they're played half of the date within the month. Gouta couldn't decide whether he could continue or disband. Otoya gave him 24 hours to decide.

Gouta had no other choice but to decide or else, his career is over. So he goes to a playground trying to think of his final answer.

"Oh man, what am I going to do, I've known Fumiki for a long time, but I can't disband my own band, but I'm not an addict, and I don't drink or smoke. But what am I going to do?"

"Uh are you Gouta Yamamoto?"

"Ah! Kim Cho, what are you doing here? I thought you were in Korea?"

"I did go back, but I'm a fashion model now. I've heard that you're in a band."

"Yes I am, but my manager is giving 24 hours to decide whether I should find a replacement or disband."

Gouta explained his situation Kim. And Kim started to be interested in Gouta but there was still one problem circling around Gouta. He couldn't forget long time Rival Han who would insult him in class and making out with Kim.

"Are you still dating Han Kawano?"

"Oh him, yeah I remember him, we just met yesterday."

"Oh, I see. Where is he now?"

"He's in a band called The Fried Starfish."

Gouta, expressed his short interest in Han, but still he was to confess his feelings for Kim, but Han arrived on the scene, taking a punch to Gouta's face and embarrassed him in front of Kim. Kim tried to stop the fight, but Han continued to bully Gouta.

"Hey, Gouta, What's up I've heard the rumors."

"Han stop it! You're hurting him."

"No, you're mine, and mine alone."

Han walked away with Kim and a bruised Gouta began to release his anger and hatred towards Han.

"Revenge, that's right, revenge is the answer."

The next day, Gouta presented himself during the meeting and made his mind. He decided to disband the beat boys and Fumiki stormed out of the office in a fit of rage but he was soon arrested after he tried to steal apples from convenient store. Gouta then left Cherry records soon after.

And this is the per where Gouta is now Benito, Keyboardist of the heavy metal band, 'Silverstone." When Gouta first joined the band, his explained that he wanted to forget all the pain he suffered for the last 2 months from the hands of Han. But Gouta never gave on his confession to Kim. So Homika, also known as "Wami", encourages him to sing her a song; not as Benito, but as himself.

"What song should I sing?"

"How about the song Time Travel."

"That's a good idea, I like it."

Gouta only needed a guitarist to perfom the song with him. So he asked Takara to fill in the guitar sounds. Gouta remembered the song when he first sang it back in college; he sends a text message to Kim saying:

"Kim, Its Gouta, meet me inside the dining room at the hotel your staying. I'll be there in 10 minutes."

Kim got the message, but she couldn't get away from her manager or Han that easily. She asked the help from her personal assistant, to help her escape the room and head down to the dining room. Gouta started to play the song, together with Homika and Takara. The trio began the song as Gouta sang the first stanza of the lyric, Kim remembers the first time Gouta played the song and it made her heart crumble like a drop of tears landing on a leaf.

"I remembered this song, it was Gouta who sang it."

As the music continues to play, the waitresses prepared food and a bottle of wine for Kim and for Gouta. Homika and Takara waited outside just in case anything would happen to Gouta if ever Han would assault him again. Then, the two former students enjoyed the night alone in one private room and Kim could say one thing to Gouta.

"I know, this is difficult but I found my heart."

"Who?"

"Isn't it obvious, you are."

Gouta choked with a surprise; he couldn't say a word, he would pause for five seconds and finally, he reveals his true feelings to Kim.

"I think I like you too. But there's something I want to tell you."

"What is it?"

Gouta planned to explain to Kim that he is "Benito" keyboardist of the band Silverstone. But before he could make the final blow, Han inserted in the way, throwing a big fist at Gouta's face; Homika and Takara barged into the scene dressed as Yuto and Wami.

"The members of Silverstone? Here? Why are they helping Gouta."

"That's the problem phobo. YOU'RE UGLY!" Says Yuto.

"What did you say? Nobody calls me that! NO ONE!"

Han points out his fist towards Yuto, but Wami blocks his punch and kick him in the stomach. Kim was confused. She demanded to know the truth But Wami, told her.

"Now is not a good time but tomorrow, you'll find out. As for you Mr. Han, Gouta wants to put an end to your grudge against him, so tomorrow bring your band tomorrow night at the Sand Box. Don't be late. We'll settle this band versus band in one stage."

"I accept."

"Once the war is over, you will leave Gouta alone for good."

"Agreed."

The two member carried Gouta back to his dorm and there, he woke and asked.

"What happened?"

"You were knocked out by Han so we came to your rescue" Says Yuto.

"Huh? Then why are you guys dressed as Yuto and Wami?"

"Because We don't want to expose our real faces." Says Wami.

Gouta gave them a smirk in the face and the two demons gave him a knockout punch to the face, and Gouta yelled.

"What was That For!?"

Wami and Yuto bid their good night to Gouta, and Gouta could only remember the fist Han gave him earlier at the dining hall. Then, he had 3 miss calls and 7 text messages from Kim.

"Gouta, it's me. Please pick up; I really want to talk to you. I don't know what's going on, but I want you tell me about your true self. I'll be there tomorrow at the concert."

"Oh no, What do I do? I can't tell her yet that I'm Benito, what if she leaves me. What If she thinks I'm a pervert. What will I do? Wait a minute, I think I got it. I remembered a song that Wakou told me. I think it was called endless darl; that's right the song I'm going to perform is "Endless Dark".

The next night, Kim and her personal bodyguard followed Gouta to the club, to change as Benito; Keyboardist of the band SIlverstone. Upon arriving Wakou a.k.a  Toho, asked Gouta about the song he suggested.

"So Gouta, have you prepared the song?"

"Yes, I have it It's right here."

"Hm, impressive So are you ready for this?"

"Yes, I am. I just want to put an end to Han; once and for all."

"Alright then, let's get going."

Kim opened the door of the dressing room and watched Gouta, putting on the make-up and costume, changing into his alter ego, Benito. She couldn't believe what she saw, but she now realized, that Gouta was the one who gave her chocolates, flowers, accepting punches from Han. But there was something else that confused her; she wanted to know who gave her the star gazer puzzle on her birthday.

"You want to know who gave it to you?"

"Uhm, Who are you?" Kim asked.

"I'm Fumiki, former member of the beat boys." says Fumiki.

"Oh, so you're his former classmate right?"

"Yes I am. I just want you to know something. Gouta has fallen in love with all this time and he just wants to make sure that you're safe from that bastard Han."

Then, Fumiki walked away, and Kim finally realizing Gouta's true feelings, opens the door of the dressing room, only to find out that Gouta has entered the stage dressed as Benito. She hurried to the audience and watch the duel of two bands.

"Are Ya Ready!!!" Says Toho.

"Silverstone! Silverstone!"

"Elephants Comin' At Ya!"

"Wow! Toho is getting better and better, so is Benito."

Then, the lights went off; a burst of flames came from the side of the stage and the unstoppable Han came from behind, knocking Toho out of the way and performed and half of the fans, declared another war on their idols. One stage, one battle, one round. Two bands collided on stage singing each other's songs and a fan reaction from the fans generated a stylistic comment.

"Ha! Toho is not takign a step down."

"What! Han don't lose to that psycho freak."

"What did you say?! Toho doesn't fear death, nor doesn't exist."

Finally, Benito, stopped the music and surprised the fans with the secret song he wrote.

"This new is called ENDLESS DARK!!!" Says Benito.

As the fight ensues, the song exploded the stage with a sudden burst of smoke and dark lights, frightening the band members of Han. A curious Han began to specify Benito's true identity, whether he is Gouta or not.

"Those eyes, those mouth, I believe he is my enemy Gouta. But it can't be him."

"That's right, keep on guessing, because you're walking out of this stage alive." says Benito.

When Benito turned his head, he saw Kim standing in the middle of the row staring at him with one step closer, eye to eye. But Benito, looked at her for 5 seconds and resumed the song. Benito would then jump over Han, tearing his precious outfit, giving him the dark look, making it look like a penance stare. Han, realizing his defeat, surrenders himself and decides to shake hands with Benito. Thinking of this, Benito gave him the only gift he will ever receive. The Punch to the face.

"How's that for a change?" says Benito.

"I guess I was wrong. You are not him. You are a true demon."

"Silverstone! Silverstone!"

When the time finally came, Kim went back to the dressing and watched closely as Benito removes his make-up and changing back into Gouta. The popular model realized something.

"Now I get it, Gouta, has been sacrificing alot; not for me, but for the others. I guess, it's about time I give him a chance."

While waiting for Gouta to finish changing, she hid behind the janitor room and waited for the man she loves come out from the dressing room.

"Who's there?" Gouta asks.

"Uhm, Hello, Gouta."

"Kim,? What are you doing here?"

Gouta could not believe his eyes, when Kim found out of his identity. But she realized and understood Gouta's situation and the hard times. Gouta explained everything to Kim, and she accepted him as her new boyfriend.

"I have one condition" Kim said.

"What's that?" Gouta asked.

"We go on a date every friday."

"But aren't you going back to Korea this friday?"

"Well, I'm planning to stay here for good. And I want to be with you."

Gouta accepted the condition and the two young couple, walked out and spend the their night in a restaurant saying, "No they don't have to take you away.
