The missing pieces of the puzzle owned by Kiminori Narita who served as a bodyguard for the famous Japanese actress Yumika Kobayashi for only 30 days. On the last day of their contract, the two parted ways after Kiminori realized he wanted to be an astronomer and find his very precious star. But there was something missing. The last piece of the star gazer puzzle was lost in the hotel in the room of Yumika.
Finding a way to put the pieces together, Kiminori approaches Wakou Suzuki otherwise known as Toho, lead singer of the heavy metal band Silverstone. Kiminori and Wakuo first met back in college when Kiminori saw Wakou play the guitar in music class and they both shared their passion and dreams in music. But Kiminori only decided to become an astronomer; he enjoys watching the stars every night.
Meanwhile, Yukimi found the missing piece of the puzzle from the star gazer puzzle whom Kiminor lost a while ago, she begs her manager to let her go and return the missing piece before she goes to Hollywood. Then, Wakou wasn't ready to reveal to Kimino that he is actually Toho, due to the rising popularity of Silverstone.
"Have you heard of the band Silverstone?" Kiminori asks.
'Yeah, they are currently number. 1 on the Japanese music indie scene." Wakou said.
"Yeah, I heard that the lead singer is really cool and his songs give most inspiration." Kiminori said.
Wakou could not answer Kiminori's questions properly, due to the nervousness he feels on the inside. Kiminori isn't aware that Toho and Wakou are one person.
"Are we still on for tonight?" Wakou asked.
"Yes, I'll meet you at the Geisha club at 7:00 p.m."
And the two men parted ways. Kiminori arrived at his dorm, turning the lights and changing his clothes, and he found Yumika sleeping on his couch like a pillow, waiting for her admirer. Kiminori shouted like a girl and Yumika laughed at him so hard, he ended up being shocked.
"Oh my, you scream like a girl." Yumika said.
"Did not, you didn't even tell me you were coming here. And how did you know where I live?"
"You friend told me. Your friend Yamada." Yumika said.
Kiminori stood up for two minutes and closed his eyes as if they were moving round and round towards each other. And he asked himself "What in the world is going on?" he burst into the speed of stardom when saw the capricorn coming towards him. And a slap from Yumika woke him up.
"Wake up straight arrow." Yumika said.
"Eh? What the heck just happened." Kiminori asked.
"You were dreaming and you nearly kissed me." Yumika said.
"Sorry about that."
"Anyway, I have to go now. Bye." Yumika bid her last goodbye to Kiminori as she departs back to her hotel and head for Los Angeles. An emotional Kiminori sat down for a bit, and found the missing piece of the puzzle on his left pocket.
"Eh?! jeez it was right here all along. Here we are, and yes. My puzzle is complete. But I forgot to say thank you to Yumika for returning it."
After 6:00 P.M., Kiminori hurried and dressed up for his dinner reunion with Wakou. On his ways to the club, he ran into Yumika who is also going to the club. The two collided in the club at the same time when Wakou arrived from the Silverstone concert right before 7 P.M.:
"Oh great you're here." Wakou said.
"Uh Wakou, you have some white stuff's on your forehead."
"Oh, sorry about that." Wakou said.
Kiminori was beginning to suspect Wakou as Toho. But Wakou denied the rumour from Kiminori as the two looked at each other, eye to eye. But Kiminori decided to forget about it; he only believes Wakou will just end being rejected and ask for help.
"Well forget it man, I know what you're going to say." Kiminori said.
"Yes man, I know." Wakou said.
The two spent the whole night drinking sake and watch the geisha's perform, while Yumika watched in jealousy as Kiminori enjoyed his night, while hers was only dating another boring man. The man, whom she is looking for this entire time is actually Kiminori.
"How I wish a guy like him could do that to me too."
Yumika's expression shifted. Judging from her anger, she started to dance and ended up being knocked down after drinking twelve bottles of sake. Kiminori spotted her, and he asked Wakou to help her.
"Quickly, help me get her to her back to her hotel before she tries to escape again."
"What of girl is she?" Wakou asked.
"Trust me, you don't wanna know. Because of her, I had to suffer 24 hours of watching her. I never had the chance to watch the stars." Kiminori said.
"Ah, so your still aiming to become an astronomer, well dreams don't pay bills so go for it." Wakou said.
Wakou encouraged Kiminori to quit being a loser and stand up for himself. Because Wakou suddenly remembered that Kiminori is only interested in stars; he writes a song for Kiminori entitled "Lost and Found." because Wakou once helped Kiminori find the missing piece of puzzle back then when they were still in college.
"I have an idea. Meet me tomorrow night at the club. Bring Yumika with you and tomorrow morning, I have something to show you. I think she will like it."
"Will it work?" Kiminori asked.
"Yes it will. Just trust me." Wakou said.
Wakou rushed back to his dorm and re-written the song and he placed them under his folding bed. Then, his cell phone was ringing; a phone call from Shoko. Wakou didn't had time to answer her call, due to his expression of concentrating of being both himself and as Toho.
"Forgive me Shoko, but I'm not ready to tell you yet about my true job. I hope you will understand my decision."
The motions of Wakou didn't progress until falling asleep; he still feels ashamed on the inside even though can never progress his feelings for Shoko as long as he is still Toho and Silverstone's rising popularity. When the times comes for Silverstone to disband, Wakou might reveal his true identity to Shoko and the fans.
As for Kiminori, the only thing that mattered to him is become an astronomer and probably finish his remaining days as security guard in J.S.A.
"If only I could tell Yumika about my motives and my feelings for her. But how long will I hide it? Even if I deny things, the truth will still come out."
The next day, Wakou and Kiminori performed the song at the club where Kiminori usually spends his time drinking sake and eating sushi. As time progressed, Wakou showed the lyrics to Kiminori and he found the song quite interesting. The temperature of the air condition at the bar was 120 degrees, the two men couldn't resist the cold, so they asked permission to the bar owner to turn down the temperature and allow them to perform the song.
The bar owner agreed since he and Kiminori are good friends. At the same time, Yumika arrived at the bar to say one last goodbye to Kiminori, but he asked her to stay for a while a listen to the song Wakou composed.
"Uh Yumika, this song is for you. I know we haven't gotten along the way since I started being your bodyguard, so this song is a thank you a for returning the final puzzle."
Kiminori finally found the last puzzle and his star; Yumika is his puzzle and star. Upon finishing the song, Everyone in the bar and Yumika praised the song. Wakou and Kiminori were loved by the fans and Wakou told his long time friend to stay with Yumika until her departure for Los Angeles.
"Go with her man, be with the woman you now love." Wakou said.
"How can I ever thank you." Kiminori said.
"You don't have to man, I'm just a stylish man after all." Wakou said.
The two shook hands and he watched Kiminori drop off Yumika at the airport where her plane awaits her. Kiminori believes, even if they won't see each other for some other time, he never gave up on his dream on becoming an astronomer.
Meanwhile, Wakou returned to the stage along with the rest of the members of Silverstone and they battled again another rival band that intends to crush them. On the other hand, they were easily outnumbered by the bands upcoming songs.
"Are we having fun or what?!" Toho shouted to the fans
"HELLYEAH!!!" The fans shouted repeatedly several times until the curtains came down, ending the show and Toho changed back into Wakou and visited Kiminori who is now working in an astronomy laboratory, he has found the stars at long last.
"I did it Wakou, I have finally found the stars." Kiminori said.
"Well I'm happy for you. How Yumika by the way?" Wakou asked.
"Well, she's busy as usual. I haven't been able to contact her since she left?" Kiminori said.
"How come? I thought you already revealed you liked her?" Wakou asked.
Kiminori already knew Yumika was going back to see him, so he didn't tell Wakou. He simply made it into a prank, making Wakou believe that he still doesn't love Yumika. But, Kiminori showed off to Wakou his real answer.
"Screw Off man, I'm joking. I can't believe you fell for it." Kiminori laughed.
"Don't ever do that man, jeez you nearly gave me a heart attack." Wakou said.
"And Here she comes." Kiminori looked at Yumika, in a manner way of revoking his fellings; he blushed and tried to smirk his way out, but Wakou tapped him in the face.
"Kiminori, is that you?" Yumika smiled.
"Yes, it's me, and woo, here I am now." Kiminori said.
"Wow, you look really good on that uniform." Yumika bluffed and actually laughed at Kiminori's uniform because he looked like a 40 year old scientist. Kiminori didn't take that for answer and he said.
"What are you laughing about?" Kiminori asked.
"Well, you really look ridiculous in that uniform." Yumka said.
"Huh!? I though you said you liked it?"
"Its' true but you still look funny, hahahaha." Yumika laughed so hard and so did Wakou; he agreed on what Yumika said about Kiminori's uniform.
"Wakou, you too. Oh great you are such a slimy little weasel."
"Chill off man, You're uniform is the reason why you're making us both laugh." Wakou said.
"Oh Stop it will YA!." Kiminori said.
Wakou and Yumika laughed until the very end Kiminori took off the uniform and exposed himself in front of his co-workers and the ladies faces turned red when they looked at his shirtless body.
"Oh my, help me." Kiminori said.
Wakou, Yumika and Kiminori ran outside the laboratory and the three of them ended up laughing again with a little help from Wakou's jokes.
"You know Wakou, someday I'll drive something to you."
"And what's that?" Wakou asked.
"Its' a secret." Kiminori said.
