文部科学省の「問題行動・不登校等に関する調査」によると、2019年度に全国の国公私立の小・中・高校で認知されたいじめの件数は61万2496件に上り、前年度より6万8563件増加したことがわかった。差別の種類を円グラフにすると、「からかう・脅す」が61.9％、「殴る・叩く・蹴る」が21.4％、「仲間外れ・無視」が13.7％を占めます。
