A couple of weeks ago, the default for.rar files was UnRarX, and the default for.cbr was Jomic. I used Onyx to do some clean-up (repair permissions, etc), and the default program changed. I got a serious problem. I wanted to change the default program of.rar file to winzip but I clicked on windows explorer instead.(C:/windows/explore.exe) And now every time I open any.rar file a process tree of explore.exe get opened with 98% CPU usage. I went to contrl panel and (Control Panel Programs Default Programs Set Associations) set associations but I cant see.rar format thats very big problem:( What do I do now????:(:( Thanx in advance:( *original title - Windows explorer problem?*. The filetype for.zip files is CompressedFolder. I don’t know if you should use this for.rar files or create a new one.
